I really don’t have anything new to report other than 1) I’m tired of pulling up my blog and seeing a picture of myself (ha) and 2) I don’t want to see a anything about a demon (argh) as my last post. So, I decided to post about something random:
I haven’t exercised in MONTHS. Seriously, I can’t remember the last time I actually broke a sweat through exercise! I was doing so well too, even beginning to jog just a tiny bit. Now that was impressive (ha)!
So as I type this, I am playing with the idea of dusting off my Wave (you know, the thing you “ride” and use to strengthen your core)! Ok, surely there is a CORE under this meat somewhere.
The way I look at it is this … we are at the end of October (Hallelujah — the maze will be closed in two weekends – hee hee) and that leaves me two months before Christmas. I sure would love to drop 10 pounds. This last bit of weight has been determined to remain.
I also learned a lesson last night. Chocolate isn’t my only strong temptation! HOT, SOFT WHOLE WHEAT ROLLS ARE JUST AS TEMPTING. Oh, my flesh won last night as I enjoyed those soft little nuggets of yummy. (Note to self, DON’T BUY WHOLE WHEAT ROLLS FOR SUPPER!)
So that is where I sit tonight. Oh yeah, I shouldn’t be sitting. I think I will actually get up, put on some exercise clothes, and dig out the Wave!
Tomorrow’s post will be about how many people “popped in” on me as I exercised. You know they will. This house needs a revolving door! We will be receiving another delivery of pumpkins around 7pm. I bet that driver will need to come in the house for some reason and I’ll be spread out on the floor for all visitors to see. Sigh. I just know it. I’ll be mid-crunch and “DING DONG” …
BTW … I just got up and took a picture of myself (ha, said I was tired of pictures of myself) and posted it under my weight loss photos at the top of this blog. I am holding the sweater I wore in my “before” pictures!

Ouch! I haven't exercised too in a while, except my mouth…Like today, I saw the Haagen Daz ice cream on sale, buy one, get one free…If I got coffee, gotta' have that strawberry too. Oh my! But I used just a small spoon and had just a few bites. You look great with that latest pic. I say, you go for it [the wave] sister!!!God bless you.

Wow, Beth, I had no idea…you look wonderful! I would love to know what you did to take it off. I only have 20 pounds to shed…again. I keep doing it, but it comes back, totally due to wrong foods. I think what is happening is that I believe the "lie" that once I'm at a good weight, I can eat anything and stay there..not.
Anyway, you look wonderful. Your post today was so funny, you had me laughing…I sooooo relate to the interruptions when trying to get a workout in…thanks!

I was doing so well with The Shred until I hit August. Luckily I finished it. I have only done two days on The Biggest Loser DVD. I've maintained my weight but have lost all motivation.
BTW, come check out my post from yesterday on our trip to the farm and today I posted my little video from in the corn maze.
Beth, quit beating yourself up girl. I wouldn't have understood a year ago but believe me, I do now. I've been so stressed lately that it's hard to be consistent in my exercise and I write a weekly Fitness Friday post! And ice cream has become my new best friend. Is that horrible or what?

Since we are confessing…I haven't exercised in months. I know I need to, but honestly…I HATE to exercise. I know we are not suppose to say hate…but that is how I feel. There I have said it! Are you happy now?

I hear ya. I started The Shred workout recently. 20 minute workouts. Makes me feel great that I'm getting in an awesome workout and it doesn't take up hours of my day!

I second that "Shred" workout. I did it for two months in the summer and getting back to it this past week…..got that "hurts so good" sore thing going on….like, right now I need the toilet paper holder to go pee…..HAHAHHAHAHAH!
But it's so worth it!

Man, I hadn't exercised in awhile, then started again last week to try to make sure I'd still fit into my bridesmaid's dress with my expanding tummy, and now I quit again, haha.
It's harder than it looks!
Oh, and whole wheat rolls… yummers!
Rolls are my one true weakness. I need some exercise myself. I've lost 49 pounds since January, but I still have a bit more to lose.

I hear ya, Beth!! Just yesterday, I went walking w/ the kids (well, you read it), and I plan on doing that everyday!!!

I still admire you even if you are at a stand still with dropping weight and haven't exercised in months. I've been totally disgusted with myself, my weight, all that I gained back after losing 20 lbs in 3 months when beloved left. I'm eating a little better…maybe a lot better than I was recently. I started doing my walking video the last two nights. I so want to really stick to it now. Lord help us.
I think you look great. Really, I'm so impressed with how far you've come and how you've, for the most part, stayed on track. I am praying that I will set my mind to do it too and stop "selt-medicating" with food when the stress of this life gets me down. Still, because it's your hearts desire, I pray you'll drop the rest of the weight by Christmas! Love ya
