It is hard to believe that I have been blogging for SIX WHOLE YEARS!!!! WOW!
Blogiversaries are unlike a birthday or anniversary where I would receive a gift — instead I OFFER A GIFT TO ONE OF MY READERS!
This year I decided to give away a book that I recently read entitled: 65 Promises From God for your Child by Mike Shreve.
I found out about this book from watching one of my favorite television shows: Sid Roth, It’s Supernatural. Mike Shreve shared a testimony of a woman with adult children who were even addicted to drugs, but after using this book as a guide and praying/declaring the scriptural prayers over her children — they were CHANGED and now serve the Lord.
If you would like to learn a little more about this book and hear testimonies of those who have stood on God’s Word, check out Sid’s interview with Mike by
clicking HERE.
To wet your appetite, I will share a couple of the prayers here:
Lord God, I declare that my son/daughter is holy unto the Lord, dedicated to You, and consecrated to Your purposes. I believe You will honor my commitment to You by separating ____________ from the world and drawing him/her to Yourself. I pray and believe _________ will be kept from the defilement and corruption that is so rampant in the earth today. Instead, I confess that by grace my child will have a passion for holiness and be pleasing in Your sight. In the Name of Jesus, Amen (let it be so)!
____________________________________
Lord, based on these promises I claim salvation for my child. I believe You will contend with any satanic force that may be contending with our family. You are the God of an army of angels that have been “sent for to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation” (Heb. 1:14, KJV). So dispatch them, Lord, to protect and defend my child. I pray You will save ___________ from the deception of this world and grant him/her all the benefits of salvation. In the Name of Jesus, Amen (let it be so)!
_____________________________________
Lord, I admit that only You can awaken love for the things of God in my child’s heart. I trust You to do that. I believe _________ will not only love You but will also love the things You love such as truth, righteousness, and kindness. I believe _________ will be a very loving child — loving family, loving others in the body of Christ, and loving the lost of this world who have not yet found their way. Yes, I confess that the love of God will be poured into the heart of my child. In the Name of Jesus, Amen (let it be so)!
Can you imagine what your life would be like if someone had been praying these blessings over you?

Oh and Happy six years my friend. So thankful to have been along with you on your journey, and looking forward to more!
I’ve been following for years. I don’t comment often, but I read your posts quite a bit. I saw this book featured on Sid Roth too and remember wanting it so that I could believe for my own child, who is getting more strong willed by the minute and isn’t always the most respectful little lady. 🙂 I believe The Lord is calling me to fast and pray for her once a week, which I’m praying through right now. I am subscribed to your blog too! Congrats on your anniversary!
Happy Blogiversary! Sounds like a great book. Would love to win! I do follow you on FB , Network Blogs and I will check out to follow twitter (although I hardly go on- but do love to share stuff!)
Happy Happy Blogaversary Beth. What an amazing woman of God you are!! Your words never fail to bless me.
Happy 6th blogiversary, beth! I followed you on feedburner. I don’t have an FB account anymore. I have a brother in NY. If ever my name gets picked, i’ll send you my brother’s address. =)
I would love a copy of that book.
Happy blogging!!!
You don’t have to enter me but what generous spirit you have sis and Happy Blogiversary!
It’s so easy to be consumed with things in this place that we forget how easy it is to pray His blessings over our children and how important that would be. I believe in the power of prayers knowing Who answers them…
Keep writing because you encourage so many…like me! God bless and may you always be strong in the Lord’s mighty power!
Erica commented on FB and wants to be in the drawing. So that makes 7 people interested in the book (since Rosel said she didn’t need to be in the drawing).
I just used Random.org. I found the blessed winner! I am going to contact her! Congratulations Angie Howard!!!
