Before I was a Mommy, I HATED Mother’s Day — so I can totally relate to my friends who feel all alone and sad on Valentine’s Day. Be of good cheer! I know of someone who wants you to be His!
1 John 4:19 declares, “We love because He first loved us.”
Psalm 136:2 states, “Give thanks to the God of gods. His love endures forever.”
Song of Solomon 1:2 declares, “Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth—
for your love is more delightful than wine.”
Psalm 55:22 proclaims, “Cast your cares on the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous fall.”
Exodus 34:14 declares, “Do not worship any other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.”
Psalm 63:3 states, “Because Your love is better than life, my lips will glorify You.”
Psalm 23:5 proclaims, “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.”
Song of Solomon 2:4 states, “He has taken me to the banquet hall, and His banner over me is love.”
Revelation 3:20 declares, “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.”
John 3:16 states, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Are you longing for a romantic night? Well, the King of Kings is waiting. He is standing at the door, waiting for you to knock.
Happy Valentine’s Day. Father, we are so grateful for Your love! May our focus be on You during this man-made holiday. Our hearts belong to You!

I'm just impressed you found all that stuff in 1 day when I've collected all mine for the last 18 years. 🙂 I especially love your signs – the red heart and the pink signs are gorgeous & I've seen nothing like them. Believe me, I look! LOL! You should have a great party. The roads got really bad quickly here, so have your friends be very careful.

I think it says it all about how you longed to be a mother and hated Mother's day prior to your little one. It's an ache that doesn't go away no matter how hard we try to ignore it or fill it with God.

Beth, I'm so glad you focused on the love of God. As you know, Mother's Day is often a bit of a struggle for me. And so, I too am sensitive to those women who may not have a husband or someone who loves them as they hope to be loved. But our Lord doesn't disappoint. And only He can fill our hearts to overflowing with His perfect love.
