Today I’m linking with the Faith Barista to discuss how God is challenging me to keep my faith fresh!
Let’s start with discussing the POWER of faith!
Matthew 17:20
He replied, “Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. ”
Have you seen the size of a mustard seed? It is very tiny! Just a tiny bit of faith can EXPLODE into something BIG!
Envision that little seed EXPLODING!
We are so blessed that God has made a way for us to each have a measure of faith! Even with the smallest amount we can MOVE MOUNTAINS! We just have to believe and not doubt!
So how am I keeping my faith fresh?
It gets EXERCISED y’all!
It is BY FAITH I stand on God’s Word for healing. It is BY FAITH I stand on God’s Word for deliverance! It is BY FAITH I believe God is going to complete the work He began in me! It is BY FAITH I can forgive myself when I mess up, because I receive God’s Word as TRUTH … BY FAITH.
I have commanded legs to grow BY FAITH and I have seen them grow. I have seen backs straightened and headaches suddenly disappear. It wasn’t because of ME. I have a measure just like you. It is because of the NAME OF JESUS and the POWER of His Name! He taught us how to pray and I follow by FAITH.
Do you need to increase your faith?
How?
Hear His Word!
Romans 10:7
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
If we are followers of Christ, then we live in a totally different economy. We aren’t citizens of this world and we don’t have to listen to the bad reports around us. Keep your faith growing by watering it with God’s Word.
WHOSE report will YOU believe?
I don’t want to live off of yesterday’s manna. I must have new, freshly grown/spiritually fed FAITH each day!
How about you?

Your words of wisdom are always on target….Thank you…
I really enjoyed my visit with you this morning…. and thank you for visiting my blog this week of WFW. I would like to invite you back to visit to see what is up on my blog.. I am moving with the spirit toward writing on the times in we we find ourselves… the deterioration of society, government, media, family, etc, but how the scriptures give us all we need to be overcomers. I am looking for bloggers who might be led to join in the discourse with me as an encouragement to others to persevere, trust, and wait on God… at any rate, I would welcome your comments as I hope to bring clarity to what I perceive is going on around us. God bless and have a grand day!!!
So I made it by before my appt…
Again, I love your new blog – everything about it including posts like this one. I do have faith and it has grown over the years but I also know there are times when I don’t exercise it enough. As bad as the times are economically, I know who holds my future and he is going to provide for us.
You sum up my thoughts well:
“I don’t want to live off of yesterday’s manna. I must have new, freshly grown/spiritually fed FAITH each day!”
Amen!
A great post, Beth! His word is new every morning. 🙂

By itself, the mustard seed is a little bit of almost nothing. What matters is what’s been packed into the seed, waiting, and then the touch that instills life. After that, everything changes.
Good post.
Trust in the small. :o)
Hi Beth! What a warm and faith-inspiring blog you have here! “If we are followers of Christ, then we live in a totally different economy… ” I love this quote and how you matched it with your “To Do List” 🙂 Thank you for encouraging us by reminding us what God values. You poured a fresh brew here in our jam and you are that pleasing aroma, friend! (btw, love seeing how you introduced our “Boaz” and “Princess” to us. So blessed to have your voice in our community of faith!)
Thank you Bonnie! I’m happy to have found you and the community! Bless you!
