I am linking with Susan at Forever His to share God’s Word with a photo. I took this picture a week or so ago in front of our home. I have a “thing” for clouds!
Can you believe I am actually linking today? I can’t remember the last time I participated in this Meme. Sorry friends.
I have felt a strange “heaviness” or something “off” in my spirit somehow the past couple of evenings. I have also had spiritual dreams. Perhaps it is because of my concern for the direction this country is headed. Who knows. Either way, I must walk in peace.
Psalm 91
1 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High
will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 This I declare about the Lord:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;
he is my God, and I trust him.
3 For he will rescue you from every trap
and protect you from deadly disease.
4 He will cover you with his feathers.
He will shelter you with his wings.
His faithful promises are your armor and protection.
5 Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night,
nor the arrow that flies in the day.
6 Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness,
nor the disaster that strikes at midday.
7 Though a thousand fall at your side,
though ten thousand are dying around you,
these evils will not touch you.
8 Just open your eyes,
and see how the wicked are punished.9 If you make the Lord your refuge,
if you make the Most High your shelter,
10 no evil will conquer you;
no plague will come near your home.
11 For he will order his angels
to protect you wherever you go.
12 They will hold you up with their hands
so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.
13 You will trample upon lions and cobras;
you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet!14 The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me.
I will protect those who trust in my name.
15 When they call on me, I will answer;
I will be with them in trouble.
I will rescue and honor them.
16 I will reward them with a long life
and give them my salvation.”
Have a truly blessed Wednesday!
Bless you dear.
Comforting words, beautiful Clouds! We have been seeing some beauties lately too! I love clouds and the lessons we can teach our children while looking at them!
God Bless x
Hang in there Beth!
Matthew 28:20-b
…and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Hi Beth,
I pray that God reveal to you the burden/heaviness. It could very well be for our country. Thanks for the reminder to pray for our country- we really need it!
Blessings, Laurie
Amen! And it is because He is powerful enough to create our world out of nothing that we can trust Him to protect us always. What a great reminder today my friend! Happy WFW!
Great scripture!
Hello Beth,
This verse was back there in my mind this morning, but I could not quite get hold of it, and then my husband told me this is the verse he’s been thinking about a lot lately, and I realize it was the same one I wanted to leave with you. of course, I know you already know it…just reminding you.
John 16:33
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
♥Hope
My favorite Psalm! Especially when I went through a spiritual battle, the Lord is always protective, so true with His promises. Glory to God!
You love clouds maybe because it reminds you that someday, we'll be riding on them 🙂 Blessings to you sister.
The creator leaves His footprint everywhere in beauty and grace for the world to just look up and see Him.
May clouds today turn hearts to the creator.

Love your Word Filled Wednesday! Thanks for sharing. How's the Corn Maze doing? 🙂 We're looking forward to it. 😉
Your Word-Filled Wednesday is always a bright spot in my week! I'll keep you close in my prayers and ask God to lift your heavy heart. Thinking of you, sweet friend!
Hey Beth,
I'm so glad you joined us today!
What a great word and that Psalm. I pray this daily for our nation and for my children.
We truly need to be sensitive to what God is showing us in this hour.
Blessings to you this WFW♥
Lovely photo and verse! Great Psalm too.
Love Collette xxx
We share the same thinking about our own nation. I think your country is still more blessed than our country. I also don't know were our nation is heading, but I trust God. I trust that everything is under His control. Cheer up and rejoice. The Lord is greater than anyone in this world.
God Bless you.
Absolutely! The one who created the heavens and the earth has the whole world in his hands. We can rest in that peace.
Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful, and I love Ps. 91. Wait and be strong through this, Beth. Much love, Laurie Ann
Blessings Beth…I'm into clouds too & those are some heavy, full, clouds!
They are so appropriate to the heaviness you feel for the nation.
But Psalm 91 is the best one to pray for the soldiers, & our nation & us!
May you find strength & peace today!
For in the beginning God created the heaven and the earth, He is the Alpha & Omega…and God is in control!
Thanks for visiting me & I saw that I had a new follower & I thought oh, Beth…but it wasn't you:(
I used to read one Psalm a day. I don´t know why I stopped doing that.
What beautiful clouds! Thank you for sharing such an uplifting thought for today, and thanks for stopping by my blog.
This is the scripture that has really touched my heart in a deep and profound way this year.
HE is so amazing and trustworthy and awesome and…and…and…!!!
Through it all, we can trust Him! Amen!
One of my favorite scriptures…. I haven't been having spiritual dreams I have been having ugly, tempting, sinful, rebellious dreams… I hate it when spiritual warfare comes through sleep! My hubby said we are most likely being attacked because we are doing something right 🙂
Thanks for the encouraging comment on my MWM post earlier this week, it was a blessing… it made me smile 🙂
Beautiful, Beth – and I'm praying. Happy WFW
Very beautiful, Beth! I love this chapter in Psalm. I find such strength, encouragement and peace in these verses.

Love this chapter. Love this part too, "His faithful promises are your armor and protection."
Isn't that awesome! Standing on the promises of God!
I love how the heavens declare HIS glory.
I get that heavy feeling too sometimes, PRAISING GOD through songs or prayers helps me so much. I continue until I feel a lift.
May GOD give you HIS love and comfort as you carry the burdens you have to the cross.
Love ya,
Tiffany
Beautiful photo. Powerful Scripture always to feed on! Praying for God's peace, wisdom and strength for you.

Beautiful cloud picture. I love Psalm 91. I hope and pray that the Lord will fill your heart with His peace. "Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." John 14:27
Thanks for visiting my blog.
Beth, these are difficult days and times in this world. But we are not at home here; we're just passing through. And during this time we get to be used by our Lord for His Kingdom purposes. There are many who stand by your side and we are on the winning side. Woo hoo!
Hi Beth! Just stopping by from SITS to wish you a wonderful day!
Beth,
it was so good to see you back!! It seems that quite a few of us have been a bit "off." I pray peace fills you!!
