Here is Princess, enjoying her day …
Let me just dangle a small tidbit from one little chapter. This chapter talks about the Principality of Bitterness.
A principality is a ruling demon that has several lesser demons answering to it. Bitterness is a ruling demon. Answering to it, giving it protection and providing its armor are: 1) Unforgiveness, 2) Resentment, 3) Retaliation, 4) Anger, 5) Hatred, 6) Violence, 7) Murder. (Page 62)
Mr. Mathias states that bitterness gains its entrance to us through unforgiveness (which is the first piece of the armor surrounding bitterness). He said the evil strong man banks on unforgiveness to be an active part of our life — never forgiving others or ourselves so that he can have his place within us.
Do you keep a record of wrongs? This author has found that unforgiveness is like instant replay, replaying the words, voices, sights and sounds of wrong events from our past. Unforgiveness flashes negative thoughts and images of everything someone ever said or did to us. (page 64)
OH, I really thought this was key: IF THERE IS ANY PAIN IN ANY MEMORY, THERE IS BITTERNESS.
So, in case this touches something in your heart — please order the book for yourself. Each chapter is about a different subject and has a prayer of release for you to work through. This is the prayer of release for BITTERNESS:
In the Name of Jesus, I purpose and choose to forgive (the person) from my heart for (what they did). In the Name of the Lord Jesus, I cancel all their debts and obligations to me.Dear Lord, I ask You to forgive me for my bitterness toward (the person) in this situation. In the Name of Jesus, and by the power of His blood, I cancel satan’s authority over me in this memory because I have forgiven.
In the Name of Jesus, I command that all the tormentors that have been assigned to me because of my unforgiveness to leave me, now.
Holy Spirit, I invite You into my heart, and to heal me of this pain. Please speak Your words of truth to me about this situation. (page 73)
I hope everyone is enjoying your weekend! Happy Sunday tomorrow!

Such a great post, sounds like good reading.
Wow…what a powerful book that must be. What you shared really ministered to me. This caught my attention:
"IF THERE IS ANY PAIN IN ANY MEMORY, THERE IS BITTERNESS".
We went through a hurtful experience a few years ago. I do have painful memories of that situation. I had no idea that meant I had bitterness in my heart, though.
Thanks for your post…I felt like you were readin' my mail, girl! lol
Hugs…
P.S. Such cute pics of the Easter egg hunt!
Sounds like a wonderful time and book!!! Glad you all had a great time!! Princess looks so cute, as always! Love ya!!
Wow this has really touched me this morning. I do carry bitterness in my heart towards someones. I'm off to order this book now. Thank you so much for your post today.
Bitterness is best served with chocolate. 😉 Yeah, I'm working on it. Really. 🙂
The Egg Hunt sounds fabulously Fun!
Looks like you all had a wonderful day..and that book. OH MY GOODNESS GIRL…wow,,double wow..I love when you share what your learning,,it blesses me so much and helps me be sharpened also.
It took me a long time to forgive someone who hurt me. But what a liberating feeling deep inside when we give it to the Lord. He does give us the freedom in all areas of bondage. But how does someone know when there are no encouraging books like that, too? Thank you for sharing this. And the pictures are all awesome. Your Princess seemed she enjoyed it so much! Have a blessed week! God bless.
What a fun egg hunt. Looks like a big crowd. Wow that was powerful…but so true. Guess I need to start working on that pain.
Resurrection eggs…I LOVE it! And I am definitely going to be getting that book, it sounds incredible!
Have a blessed day Beth!
Beautiful photos…..gorgeous little girl!
I love the Resurrection Eggs…..now THAT is what Easter is all about!
……and I struggle with an occasional "bout" of bitterness from time to time. Something I pray about often. So true about it being linked to forgiveness (or more like, lack of forgiveness).
Oh and Happy Easter to you and your family! 🙂
