It took pure, sinless blood to wash away my sin.
Ephesians 2:13
But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.Hebrews 13:12
And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through His own blood.1 John 1:7
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.
Only the Blood of Jesus
Only the blood of Jesus,
Only His nail scarred hand,
Can wash a soul white as snow…
Creating a brand new man.
Only the blood of Jesus,
The Lamb of God from above,
Can remove all sin and stain…
Oh, what mercy, grace and love!
Only the blood of Jesus
Can reach the deep sins concealed,
Touching each and every spot…
It’s by His stripes we’re healed.
Only the blood of Jesus,
Applied to a contrite heart,
Can change a soul’s destiny…
And eternal life impart.
Praise God for that precious blood,
Flowing from heaven to earth,
A stream of cleansing power…
That redeems and gives new birth.

Beautiful post. I love to watch the snow as this verse always crosses my mind. I often asked myself, “How white is whiter than snow?” Seriously. The whiteness & the purity which is seen in freshly fallen snow, on our lawn & trees, often overwhelms me as I remember the price that was paid. Thank you for this reminder today.
ah, Beth … you’ve redeemed winter’s icy frost with your pure image and words. thank you for pouring His life into my heart on this chilly morn!
I love it! Thank you. In Dutch whiter than snow is: witter dan sneeuw. Amazing grace.
“A stream of cleansing power…”
I’ve started memorizing Isaiah 55 today and the first verse is for those who thirst, to come. Come to the waters. That stream of cleansing power found in the blood. Yes. Thanks, Beth!
I am so thankful for the blood of Jesus! Have a beautiful week my friend!
