Hi Friends, I am linking with Beth (there are a lot of Beth’s on blogspot) at The Power of Your Love to memorize God’s Word.
This is a great way to be held accountable! This is my first time participating. Thankfully, I have already memorized the verse from last week. 2 Chronicles 7:12 states, “If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land.” Ok, I hope I got that right!!!
This week, we are memorizing this verse.
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and His understanding no one can fathom. Isaiah 40:28 (NIV)
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable….Isaiah 40:28 (NASB)

Hey Beth,
Enjoy your time of meditating and memorizing the Word. It’s so valuable as I know you know. I do the same I’m also doing that with LPM.
Bless you this and every day. Are you and Pam still going tomorrow? I’m praying for you both.
Awesome verse my friend.
That is awesome my friend. We are on our second time around for memorizing the a-z scriptures. So great! I don’t think the version matters. Just getting it in your heart.
What a great Bible verse…both versions! Thanks for sharing it with us. :o)
Love you…
Beth E.
Hi Beth!!
Thanks for joining in!! You can use whatever version you like. I do prefer the NIV version, too. But, I was gifted with a deck of playing cards called “Embracing the Word”. 52 cards–52 weeks in a year–worked out perfectly. These are in NASB which is why I am using this version. But, personally, in this verse particularly, I like the NIV better.
This is something that God has been calling me to do, and I’ve put off time and time again. This way I’m holding myself and other accountable!!
And you did a wonderful job!!
Beth
