I just read my friend Blain’s blog and he brought up a good point. It was strange to me yesterday, but in my state of rushing with Sarah I forgot to post something about it.

Isn’t it scary that we can go vote JUST BY GIVING OUR NAME AND ADDRESS? I wasn’t asked for identification, birth date, or social security number. There were no checks and balances.

That is a bit concerning if you ask me. It certainly makes you wonder how many people are honest and only vote for themselves and not their parents, siblings, friends, acquaintances.

No matter what, ALL of this is in God’s Hands. I just read a great article by Rick Joyner (pastor of Morning Star Ministries) and he brought up a great point. Having a “left” and a “right” wing in the government have kept the “eagle” balanced and soaring. But what if it leans too much in one direction, what happens? He is concerned that if most of the government and the president lean left … where is the balance? Very good point.

As much as I really dislike the way the average democrat believes, I guess they do bring some sort of “needed” balance to the scales. I think most politicians are the same. All are just people who have a desire to serve their country. Some might be more self-serving, but no matter what — they are just people. Unfortunately, people sure can make a mess of things. Hmmm. God knows what is best and I will be glad when this election is finally over. No matter what American’s choose, our country is still divided and needs A LOT OF PRAYER.
