Do you hear it? People clearing their throats, hushing other family members, turning off the background noise … Yep, that’s right. VLOGEMOTION TIME AGAIN. Woo hoo! Our manly-man friend Tim (hee hee) who so bravely did Wii fit for us last week, is hosting a great carnival: VLOGEMOTION. The purpose is to create a short vlog (video blog for you non-bloggers) sharing the prominent emotion we have felt this week.
Unfortunately, my vlogs aren’t very exciting. They are often serious and normally I’m just chatting with you as if you were here. You really should go over to Tim’s and follow all of the other Vloggers. There are a couple in particular (Beth and Heidi, you know who you are) who usually crack me up. WAIT! DON’T LEAVE … of course I WANT you to listen to mine too … lol. I’m not trying to scare you away.
You will notice me sniffling in this vlog (and talking through my nose) — the pollen was really getting to me!!!
Won’t you join in on the fun? Hop over to see Tim at Fort Thompson and get on board!
Well, now that you’ve gotten a fill of my central North Carolinian dialect … enjoy your day.
Praying for you and your parents today. And yes, I love your accent!
Will be praying precious one…Your comment about giving it to the Lord, than picking it back up again really spoke to my heart..I LOVE your honesty and your heart so much for Jesus…((hugs))
I just wanted to say “praying for your parents” but I can’t help but notice when you mentioned you were putting some potting soil and you had a shot of those beautiful flowers in a pot in one corner of your deck.
That’s you, sister Beth.[even us].Funny how it’s called “soil mix” when there’s really no soil or dirt from outside used to help the plants grow.
Jesus is the soil mix [no dirt/sins] that helps or nurture the plants to bloom or grow [us]. Sometimes, the soil mix is sterilized, so bacteria [problems for the plants]will not grow nor spread. He already had helped us “ward off” those problems, even before they become worrisome. To God be the glory!
Beautiful day, like what you said. And yes, “I’ll keep you in prayers”. God bless.
Beth,
I just want to give you a hug…BLESS YOUR HEART! You are just the sweetest thing! So real and genuine!
I completely understand your emotion of feeling overwhelmed when it comes to your parents. As I told you before, it is never easy. You feel so helpless! Just keep remembering that God is a mighty God and He hears the cries of His people! My prayer for you today is that God will lift the burden you feel and clothe you with comfort, peace, and the knowledge that you’re doing everything you know to do.
Your little girl is so sweet! Your deck is gorgeous, as is your backyard! I’d be out there all day long!
Always remember, KEEP THE FAITH! Sending you hugs and blessings! Awesome vlog!
For some reason I can’t hear any youtube videos 🙁 only my tangle ones. I am unsure what the problem is.
Love ya.
I will be praying for you, and your dear parents, love you my friend.
Went onto my youtube acct and figured out the problem. Played your vlog and you know I’m praying for you and your parents. Your baby girl is adorable as always. Loved that potted flower in the background.
May the presence of the HOLY SPIRIT saturate your overwhelming feeling this day. Love you.
It’s difficult to see our Parents vulnerable and sick. I pray that the Lord will guide you through this journey.
I love the way that you try to turn your emotions around.
God Bless.
Beth,
You are so precious! I loved hearing and seeing your daughter too!
Praying for you and your parents! I know how hard it is to watch them be sick and the struggle of not letting it over take your thoughts. Praying a renewed strength in the LORD today!
Hugs and love,
Jill

Thinking of you and your parents, I know what you are going through as I saw my mom go through the same thing with my grandparents.
Princess is adorable!! 🙂
Gotta love living by the airport, we have the same issue here.
Have a great day.
Double dip – that was cute.
Why are parents so darned hard headed? Huh? Crimeny.
Sending you lots of love today.
Thanks for the shout out. 😉
Hey Beth,
Praying for your parents too! God bless you; I understand how helpless you feel. My mother is dying . . . she is in a nursing home now. So I understand, my friend.
As for your video; you do not have an accent to me. I too live in NC. Of course I would never be brave enough to speak on camera. In fact I just posted my pic on my blog today. That’s about as brave as I get.
I also wanted to tell you that your little girl has the cutest little voice. I watched her and you tell the story of David and Goliath on another vlog. She is very smart, my friend. You are truly blessed.
Praying for you.
Your friend in Christ,
Bren
Hi Beth!
The enemy will do anything to keep us down. I’ll be praying for your dad, and for your family. I can tell by your video that you have a heavy heart. But, we’re here to carry your burdens w/ you.
LOVE you,
Alicia
Prayers for your parents Beth…we’ll keep them in prayer. And I know how it is when you’re trying to minister to someone and it flips back on you….but I’ve never heard anyone say it! WOW…that has blessed my day…BTW…love the accent y’all!..well dudes got to go…”That’s my bad California accent.”
Hey Beth. Thanks for visiting me for my debut at the Five Moms blog. I’m really having a lot of fun with it. I’m so sorry about your Daddy. I will pray for you. I watched your vlog at your mountain house. What a beautiful place. Peaceful indeed. I love how your little one likes to chime in. She’s so cute!
I’ll be thinking of you and your Daddy (and Mom too).
~Miti
LOVE YOUR ACCENT (my husband is from NC too and its just so great to hear the accent while I’m at work).
I really hope you dad feels better!
1.) I’m too deaf to hear accents.
2.) I have a nasal voice on a daily basis :o)
3.) I ain’t succumbing to peer pressure and I’m sticking to pictures LOL
Thanks for being so brave to post videos of yerself 🙂 you rock
oh yeah…
4.) Thank you for being a friend, you’re a pal and confidante (hey it’s been a while since I’ve watched Golden Girls lol)
Hi, Beth:
I’ve been praying Ro 8:33 for my blogging buds and myself. Those blues have to bow to God’s elect.
It is hard to watch a parent get older and battle sickness. May God strengthen you.
Love,
Mary
Thinking of you today and saying a prayer for both you and your parents. I hear you on the pity party….;)
thank you for praying, beth. the header on your blog — I’m Heading Towards My Destiny — is exactly where i’m going. thank you for remembering me and my husband in prayer. i truly appreciate it. God bless you, beth.
Hi Beth! I will be praying for you! It is a huge responsibility to have aging parents or grandparents to care for. I was my Grandfather’s primary caregiver until he passed away in 2006. The times I spent with him in those last months are something I will never forget. He was such a blessing to me!
It is sometimes difficult when you get into that woe is me rut, even if it is for a short time. I hope you find some peace with your parents situation. :o) I’ll be prayin for you!
Finally got this thing to load!!! I was sooo excited!
I am so praying for you and your parents. It is so painful to see you hurting. We love you guys so much and will be praying for you and your parents daily.
God Bless.
Love and Prayers,
Tim
