Always good to hear you! Important message dear sister.
i have to agree with your soap box topic! amen.
i am glad you are feeling happy!! PRAISE GOD!! havn't settled on what my emotion is for the week yet, is determined an emotion? Maybe i will just ask Jadon & Kiahna how they are feeling and let them talk today!! i wouldn't have to take a shower, do my hair, & get dressed then!!! LOL!!!
yeah, so it's not done yet, so maybe after you get back fromt he mountians AGAIN! (you lucky thing!!!) you will get to see mine!
Beth,
I just love visiting with you every Thursday for Vlogemotions. It’s like sitting with someone I’ve known my entire life. You have such a warm and welcoming spirit about you.
I couldn’t agree more with what you said about pastors. They need to be lifted up and not torn down. What’s on the outside really doesn’t matter in the whole scheme of things…it’s what’s in their heart that counts.
Have a blessed day!
Amen to that sister! My dad is a pastor so I know first hand all about that. There are so many that always look for faults in people and judge as soon as they get the chance not realizing how hurtful many of the things they say are.
Im so excited for you getting to go to the mountains! What fun!
You must takes some pics to share with us when you get back. We will be praying for your safe travel there and back.
Love and Prayers,
Tim
Dear Beth,
It is delightful “visiting” with you. That was a good message of encouragement.
♥ Hope
Beth, you have such a great attitude. First of all, it’s a relief to read of someone whose emotion is happy. And amen to your sentiment about picking on pastors for the dumbest things. It’s good that you speak up and yet in such a kind and loving way. But you’re real and I love that.
My pastor reminds me of a loving shepherd and He preaches the Word in a way that I love. But the previous preacher was much more of a powerful personality so there’s always people who contrast and compare. I hate it and want to shout STOP. Each has been gifted in different ways and I believe God places them at the right time for His purposes.
Love you Beth.
Great words! Have fun spending the Gift Card.
Amen about pastors. Hope you have a great week as well. It’s always a pleasure to listen.
What a sweet post..and tribute to the Lord!
Have a HAPPY weekend too!
Congrats to you my friend. I would have been happy to win that GC too! I have to agree about your soapbox. Being a Pastor’s kid it hurts to hear people talk bad about them…after they have poured their heart and soul into their ministry. Thank you for sharing that today.
Hugs,
Mimi
First..I’d like to say congrats for the award. And thanks for the comment about the pastor being talked about in terms of little things. I’m the wife of a youth pastor and we don’t get it as harsh as the head pastor…but it’s there too! Also…you’re so cute about the jets overhead…I don’t really notice it until you comment on it. I guess I’d be the same way if I made a vlog…I’d be worried about the BELL ringing at the school down the street.
Thanks again! Blessings.
I got all giddy, thinking some movie star just said my name. Your GC is in the mail. Enjoy.
Great message today. I enjoy listening to you.
Congrats sweetie.
I loved it, Beth! I loved the video, hearing your voice and all I can say it “Preach it, girl!”.
The sad thing is that you find it in so many churches. We have it in ours and we have the most awesome pastors on staff that a church could have. I get very defensive when it comes to my pastors and most people know by now that if they have something negative to say about them…the better not say it to me. I will defend them until I draw my last breath! So…preach it, sista!
Love you!
As a pastor’s wife you know I appreciated this!
If a person comes to church with their heart ready to worship and learn from the Word, they can be blessed and worship. Whether the pastor wears a tie or not has no basis on that.
We should come to church with our hearts already fed and full and prepared to worship from what we’ve gleaned from the Word during our week.
BTW, this pastor’s wife sits in the front with her hubby, lol!
Great reminder sister Beth! Our pastors have a very hard job as they shepherd flocks! Like what you said, we oughta’ pray for them for they have a very important work for the Lord!
It is sad that people are always judgmental even with irrelevant things just to say something. That’s why it’s hard to have unity in any church, when they don’t have that “unconditional love”.
Have a great time up in the mountains there! I enjoy your vlogs because it’s like you’re talking to us face-to-face. Great job! God bless.
I love it when people put a video on their blogs… you really get a better since of who they are. And after that video… I wish you were my neighbor 🙂
Wonderful admonition!
But, I stopped by to let you know that you are my May giveaway winner from Meditations and Confessions of a Woman Found.
email me and let me know your shipping info and I’ll get the necklace off to you!
Thanks for spreading truth and courage in Jesus name!

Beth,
You are as sweet in video as you seem in my comment box. I am glad that your emotion is happy today.

You are precious!
“Crazy Jesus Lover”, will you come by my site when you get a chance? Just want to share a blog award with you. You inspire me!
Glad you are having a nice day!
Good point you brought up. The church I went to growing up ended up firing their pastor because he was bringing in teens off the streets who needed saving and so many people in the congregation were irate over it. So sad.
Great job as always! I finally got mine up, after it finished uploading….gosh! It takes forever sometimes!!
I am so glad you are happy this week!!! Do those jets/planes drive you insane?!
Cool to finally SEE you IN PERSON!!! Congrats on the gift card. =0)
Can I just say: AMEN!!!
As a pastor’s wife it always bothered me to know a lot of folks go home on Sunday after church and serve up roasted pastor for lunch.
Now that we’re on the mission field and we’re planting a church, it will be interesting to see if it’s different in a different culture.
