You can easily tell that they have a very close connection. Playing on the porch sounds like a fun time to me…wonderful job, my friend!

Oh Beth you outdid yourself on this one! It was just sooooo sweet! Your daughter is just so precious and sweet like you, and having your dad with her made it that much sweeter. Its so obvious that hes your dad. I loved him being in this post. It was so touching and beautiful.

Awwww, that made me teary. Phoebe loved it as well. If we still lived in NC we would be over playing on that porch. Loved the three generations.

I love it when kids talk, so cute…'coz you know their words come from their hearts. Her face reflected that happiness to be with her granddad. Even if it was raining, she knew they would play. Your dad is amazing, too!

I am a complete drenched mess with tears. Your Daddy just took my heart along with your daughter. I would love to join them on the porch even in the rain.
Your Daddy reminded me of my Grandpa who always had a pen and his glass case in his shirt pocket too and the times playing with Grandpa were treasured and are dearly missed. He's of course with the Lord and my Grandma but I thank God for seeing/hearing a piece of him in your Daddy today. I was once like your daughter on Grandpa's lap ready to play and to eat peaches and ice cream.
My tears are that of deeply missing him who although he was my Grandpa he was more like a Daddy to me. Sorry for exploding in tears and expressions all over your blog and thank you for the sharing. You blessed my heart. I wish I could hug your Daddy right now and sit with a cup of cool ice tea on the porch with all of you and talk.
