Today is our daughter’s 5th birthday!

This year, she had a party that would be any little girl’s dream.

She became a PRINCESS and so did all of her friends!

I can remember wanting to marry Prince Charming when I was young and God granted my heart’s desire. Especially approaching our 21st anniversary, I see the true gem within my husband’s heart. Oops! Rambling … back on track. Sorry.

We took our daughter to a house in our area where she and her friends picked out a gown, jewels, and heels (ha). Then they had an up-do with the important hair piece-pony tail, make-up and fingernail polish.

They all felt so beautiful (and looked beautiful)!

Then the girls walked through the parlor on a red carpet and told the parent’s their names and the name of their favorite Disney princess.

After the introductions, they joined the head princess for a formal “tea” (pink lemonade). They were served finger sandwiches, vegetables, and candy treats.

Yep, he paid for it all while she planned it all. Ha.

I can’t show you a close-up of the cake because my daughter’s name is on it, but it WAS BEAUTIFUL AND DELICIOUS. If you live in NC, my friend has started her own cake business: Kimmi’s Confection Expression

Opening presents …

At the end, the hostess allowed the birthday princess to pick her very own china doll! This is the doll our sweet girl chose.

On another note — this is our busy season with our corn maze. If I seem to be “missing” you will know why! I’ll be back. Don’t give up on me.

God bless you all!
