I cry each time I watch this simple skit because I have been tormented by demons in my life and had to fight just like this girl to get free! I’m sure some of you can identify with the struggle as well. What a beautiful representation of what Jesus has done and does DO for us.
Please stop my playlist at the bottom of my blog, then enjoy this Lifehouse Everything Skit:
- Ephesians 6:12 states, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” (NIV)
- Colossians 2:15 declares, “In this way, He disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross.” (New Living Translation)
- Luke 10:19 states, “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.” (NIV)

Beth- Can I just tell you how much I LOVE that photo of you and your husband being silly together!!!!
Thanks for all of your encouraging words and comments. They are appreciated!
Blessings,

that is a great video, until this morning I had never seen it before…
Good Morning Beth,
This video brought me to tears. It is a powerful representation of what is happening. I know I have felt that way so many times. The enemy is so crafty is pulling us far from God. Thank you for sharing that.
Take care and enjoy your Saturday.
Beth,
I have seen this skit before but it never ceases to amaze me. And it was just what I needed to see this morning. It will keep me vigilant praying for my daughter who is being tormented and battling against the enemy as I type this for her very soul.
Thank you.
Blessings to you today!
Okay Beth in NC!
now that I got my heart back off the floor, but my eyes are still heavy with sweet & beautiful tears as I just read your adoption story~~~PRAISE THE LORD!
thanks for sharing the roller coaster of emotions you went through as well… cry, pray, & sing! (I can relate)
~~~~~
then I come over here to leave you this comment… and I watch the video you posted first … (I have to confess, that I have seen that video at least 15 times, but would never watched it through (impatient I guess). since you asked… "please watch it though" – I did this time!!! I have missed out– the end was the most beautiful part! So glad I did! I can relate to that video / struggle as the Lord's hand has reached down to rescue & deliver me several times in my life thus far— the srtuggle is some tough stuff, but He is gentle, but yet is most powerful and HE is always victorious!!! ~~~ I think I need to add this video to a post I made a couple weeks ago called : TO TELL ME-part 2. I described the invisible rope that 'Jesus' in the skit had never let go of & never will, If you belong to Him, then by all means He won't ever loose you! (maybe you can check out that post sometime next you visit :O)
Okay… now that I wrote a book, lol,…. I wonder if you should post that most beautiful adoption story of yours on your blog after all, maybe someone needs to read it :O) because funny this is… late last night (before your comment came in)— I had just changed my blog settings to make my email address become visible at my profile page! ~ I probably did it right after you checked to see if I had an email address available or not before you wrote your adoption testimony in my comment box, LOL!~ I'm so happy you shared it with me -thank you from the bottom of my heart~
It's so wonderful to be blog buddies with ya!
Hugs, & Love In HIm, Deanna
Great video…I had never seen it before, but wow. Awesome.
This is a great video. Madison’s homeschool group did a little kid version of this back in November.
This is a powerful video. Thanks for sharing.
My daughter’s church performed this skit and I too have watched it many times – but I never get tired of it (and I always cry)! And it seems I see a little more in it each time I see it, sort of like reading scripture. It is so convicting. Bless you for posting it for all to enjoy.
This video always touches me when I see it. The message it sends is one every child of God can relate to and remember.
I love this video!!! I have seen it before, but it never ceases to bring tears to my eyes and gratefulness to my heart. Thanks for sharing it. :o)
Beth,
I have never seen this skit before and sitting here watching it brings me to tears. I have been in that situation before & praise God He is able to keep us & NOTHING can separate us from the love of Christ.
Dearest Beth,
Thank you for sharing this. I saw it last year on youtube and it blew me away. It’s powerful.
You know Beth I have seen that video before but this morning it spoke different to me.
I see the Lord is there but we have to reach out for Him, we have to free ourselves from the flesh and make the conscience decision to follow Him and rebuke the devil.
Jesus overcame temptation and He knows how hard it is. When you have experienced God’s goodness it is easier.
Hi Beth, I found your blog through Lora. I hope you don’t mind that I am here. It is nice to be in a blog that glorifies God’s name. Have a blessed Sunday, Beth. 🙂
I can’t hardly watch these without thinking of my daughter who is struggling with so much right now.
My church did a skit like this not so long ago and I cried all the way through.
So many teens are facing these things and turning from their families. I never thought it would happen to us …but now it is…God is in control and I believe that HE will return her to HIM and to us!
Thanks for stopping by my place and commenting!
Have a Fabulous weekend!
Darlene
I’ve seen that video before, and it is really neat.
