Today I link with Laurie at Women Taking a Stand to share my thankful heart.
As we approach the most important Christian holiday and as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord …
I MUST THANK FATHER GOD FOR SACRIFICING HIS ONLY SON.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
I MUST THANK JESUS FOR GOING TO THE CROSS FOR ME. Though He was innocent, He took on all of my sin and shame.
Hebrews 12:2
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
I am thankful for so much. I am a truly blessed woman, but today my focus is on the gift of His Resurrection! Through Jesus we have HOPE for tomorrow and the PROMISE of eternal life with Him.
John 14:1-3
Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
I LOVE YOU FATHER! Thank Your for giving us Your Son, Your Word, and Your Spirit.
Every time I hear these lyrics from “Here I am to worship” I want to weep:
I’ll never know how much it cost, to see my sin upon that cross!
I’ll never know how much it cost, to see my sin upon that cross!
Here I am to worship,
Here I am to bow down,
Here I am to say that you’re my God,
You’re altogether lovely,
Altogether worthy,
Altogether wonderful to me.
So Here I am to worship,
Here I am to bow down,
Here I am to say that you’re my God …

I love this song for so many reasons. My daughter (in rebellion running from God and family) would have tears streaming down her face when our choir would sing this as she would worship. Precious memories to me!
