Today is when I link up with Iris at Grace Alone to give thanks for my many blessings!
- I am thankful that in God, all things are possible! (Thanks for the reminder Iris.)
- I am thankful to be called Mommy. It took a long time to hear those words.
- I am thankful to still be called daughter. I wonder each holiday how many more years I’ll have with my parents.
- I am thankful that my husband allowed me to quit public work and be a stay at home Mom.
- I am so thankful for HOPE. Where there is Jesus, there is always HOPE.
- I am thankful for my country and all of the men & women who fight to protect it.
- I am thankful for losing 54.4 pounds (as of yesterday). Hallelujah!
- I am thankful that I live in the south where I don’t see a lot of snow. :o)
- I am thankful for food, water, a bed, a home, heat … so many things we take for granted.
- Most of all, I am thankful for Jesus.

Beautiful post. Thanks for reminding me to be thankful to be called mom. For there are many that long to be a mom.
I love your heart Beth. You are such a positive thankful person and I love being around people like you. 🙂 (even in the blogosphere). Congrats on the weight loss too. Way to go!

Hi Beth,
I’m visiting your blog from “Just Me”, Beth’s blog! Thanks for sharing you thankful thoughts. Congratulations on losing 54.4 lbs. That’s quite an accomplishment. Way to go!
Wow, I am impressed with your weight loss, you go girl!
I amen you about the long journey to having children! I am so thankful for mine too.
Hey Beth,
Oh my goodness! What a small world. I grew up in Johnston Co. and we lived there for quite a while after we were married. When we’d go shopping we’d always go to Cary Towne Center to the mall! My parents still live in Clayton! I love that area…just beautiful.
Hi,
I used to hear mama and daddy mention Peedins often when I was young, but I think they were from either the Four Oaks or Bentonville area. The names you mention don’t ring a bell, I’ll ask my sister and parents if they recognize the name.
Beautiful list! So much to be thankful for!
Congrats on losing the weight! FANTASTIC!
happy Thursday!
Great thankful list! Thanks for sharing your thankful heart with us. Take care and have a great weekend!
Beth, what a wonderful list of blessings for which you are thankful.
I especially appreciate the blessing of being called ‘Mommy’, too, since my husband and I were the last in our group of friends to get married, and we started out late. 😛
I enjoyed your thankful list! Congrats to you on the weight loss, that is wonderful.
What a great list my friend! God is so good. His blessings never end. Thanks for the reminder!
