Today I link with Laurie at Women Taking a Stand to share my thankful heart. Today’s theme is hope.
What is hope? According to the online dictionary, hope is to cherish a desire with anticipation. Another definition is to desire with expectation of obtainment.
My hope is in the word of the Living God.
My hope is in my salvation and in God’s love for me.
My hope is in Jesus’ constant intercession on my behalf.
My hope is in the help of my Comforter, the Holy Spirit.
I am thankful for my husband. He is a good provider and protector.
I am thankful for our precious daughter. She is such a joy!
I am thankful for my church. I have wanted to be at a church like this for most of my adult life!
I am thankful for pastors who preach the whole word! They don’t leave out scriptures or say “that isn’t for today” — they believe the entire bible is for today. (Thank You Lord!) He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hallelujah!
I am thankful that I was able to attend a retreat and have a short, but rewarding “get away” last weekend.
I am thankful for all of the blessings I have. No matter how small. Food, heat, water, transportation, electricity, clothes, shoes … the list goes on.
I am thankful for my blogworld friends too!
I HOPE you have a blessed day! Here is a treat for you! Please listen:

Sometimes all you can say is Amen. There is nothing more that can truly convey all that Amen says.
Blessings.
Me too! Thanks for sharing your thankfulness today!
The whole Thankful Thursday community is making me smile so big today! 🙂
I’m sharing your grateful heart for all the hope that God has offered me in my life. And I can’t imagine life without God…
Beth,
Thank you for coming by.
I’m glad the story made you cry. =0)
Those are good tears when we are touched by someones love of the Lord, and their testimony to it. And it inspires us to do more.
Thanks for the tip on the other giveaway. I’ll check that out.
Did you get singed up for mine on the Treasures… blog?
Blessings,
Barbara Jean
I could not imagine my life with out Christ. I always wonder how people live without Him.
I am thankful that He is my Rock, my Shelter and is loves me no matter how many times I fail Him.
What a wonderful list of things that you hope in-the Word, God’s love, Jesus intercession on my behalf (sometimes I forget that one – I mean how awesome is it that the King of Kings is praying for US). Thanks for the reminders, and like you, I am so thankful for the everyday blessings in my life.
It is good to remind ourselves of our Hope in Christ, and to be thankful. For if we don’t, we run the risk of being ungrateful. Awesome post!
Beautiful list! Isn’t it wonderful when you find a church that is the perfect fit for everyone in your family and helps you in your growing walk with the Lord. Such a blessing!
Love,
mimi
I’m so thankful for those things too, Beth!!!
Happy TT!!
