Colossians 4:2
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.
I am thankful for my bible. I can’t imagine not having God’s word right at my fingertips.
I am thankful for my husband and daughter. My daughter came into our bed sometime this morning and it was sweet to hear both of them breathing in their sleep.
I am thankful that I live in a peaceful area where I don’t hear bombs near my home. I am so grateful for the men and women who serve to protect us.
I am thankful for the opportunity to go on a women’s retreat with my church tomorrow! It will be the first trip (away from my daughter) I’ve taken since August 2005!
I’m thankful for all of the little things I sometimes take for granted: I can control my muscles, I can breathe on my own, I can feed myself, walk, talk, sing, drive, dance before the Lord … so many blessings!
And last but not least, I am so thankful for each of you.
Have a blessed Thankful Thursday my friends.
Psalm 100:4

It is sweet to watch kids sleep, isn’t it?! Have a great trip this weekend, and be safe driving up there! LOL!
God surely has blessed us in so many ways! Thank you for sharing today, Beth!
I believe we all take the things on your list for granted at one time or another. Thanks for reminding me to be thankful for them.
Have a wonderfully, blessed time on your retreat. You, (and your family) will be blessed!!

I loved reading your list. I haven’t stopped to enjoy the sound of my kids breathing for a long time, but GOSH, I remember that sweet, sweet sound!
Have a wonderful time at your women’s retreat!!
Dana 🙂
Ohh enjoy the retreat!! I took my first women’s retreat since my boys were born last month. I missed them a LOT but it sure was a special blessing to be able to attend!! It’s like going to a spiritual gas station lol!
Beth, have a wonderful time at your retreat. I love how you listen to your husband and daughter’s breathing as they sleep. I do that with Greg sometimes too. Be safe and enjoy your time away.
Beth,
Such a beautiful thankful post! I am always touched by your humble spirit.
I pray your time is so filled by the Spirit and you come away refreshed and knowing Him more!
Blessings to you!

You have a great list! Thanks for sharing your heart.
“I am thankful for my husband and daughter. My daughter came into our bed sometime this morning and it was sweet to hear both of them breathing in their sleep.”
Beth, I love it. This is one of those simple things for me that I forget about sometimes. My husband works nights so by the time he gets home we are all asleep and most of the time I don’t even know he’s here until I wake up to our daughter ready for school!
I miss having him in the bed with me all night.
smooches,
Larie
what a great list! I too forget the little blessing that I have every day! Thanks for the reminder
What a great list of blessings! My Bible at arms length is something I’m grateful for, too. And the sound of a baby in the bed, oh how sweet! Our 18 month old grandson joins us for Saturday morning wakeup and now our 5 month old does, too, when they stay over. I think it’s time for a bigger bed, LOL! Happy Thankful Thursday to you.
Beautiful… I love your list. Women’s Retreats are amazing. You’ll come back home relaxed, refreshed, and ready to be an even better mommy! I know you’ll have a great time. :o)
Blessings…
