Today we join with Lynn at Spiritually Unequal Marriage to share our thankful hearts.
Matthew 10:7-8
As you go, preach this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven is near.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.
I am thankful that God allows us to be His instruments here on earth! The other night I ran into an old friend who was once a very active intercessor. She shared how her back had been hurting for a week or more. I asked if I could pray for her and we found a side room for privacy. At first I placed my hand on her back and prayed, but then I asked her to sit down and put her feet out in front of her. I held onto her ankles and could tell her right leg was shorter than the left. I commanded her right leg to grow in the Name of Jesus and IT DID — right before our eyes! Her eyes got big and she felt her femur bone grow. GLORY TO GOD! Before I left, her back was already feeling better. God’s Word is true!
I am thankful that we have access to the Throne of God. Can you imagine if we had to go through someone else to act as our interpreter or representative? Actually, Jesus did that for us so that we CAN access the Throne. What a priceless gift! HE reconciled us to our Father! I had some Jehovah Witnesses come to my house the other day. I brought them in and got my bible. I had a lot of questions for them that these particular visitors couldn’t answer. They believe what their Watch Tower Society says about the Word of God — as if they can’t hear for themselves. Jesus died for them and they don’t even know it. Very sad.
I am thankful for my husband and daughter. I am grateful for the “Created to Be His Help Meet” book that my friend Larie sent me! It has ALREADY made a difference in my home, and I’m only through the first 50 pages! Thank You Lord!
I am thankful for my friends! What would we do without friends?
I am thankful that I can sit here in a safe home, with heat, electricity, clean water, and furniture. I can go into my closet and can choose something to wear from several outfits. After I’m dressed, I have a safe, dependable vehicle to carry me where I need to go. I am so blessed!
Colossians 3:15

amen amen amen…..sigh.
Interesting story about the Jehovah’s Witnesses…I’ve never really understood exactly what they believe. Glad you shared your Bible with them…maybe it will give them some food for thought.
What a powerful list you’ve shared today, Beth! You truly have been blessed! Haven’t we all? Sending you a big hug!
What a beautiful thankful heart you have, Beth! And praising the Lord for your friends healing!
Blessings to you, sweet sis!
Oh Beth, I love how your first reaction was to pray for your friend. Most people would be giving her advice or telling her about a doctor or medical treatment. And you give the glory to God!!!!
And then you’re not afraid to share the Truth with people who believe something different. You never know the seeds you may have planted, sister.
Your love can’t help but overflow to others, Beth.
there is indeed power in prayer! What a testimony about your friend! -Happy TT!
You are so right my friend! We have so much to be thankful for. I am so glad you were able to pray for your friend. What an amaazing miracle! God is so good!
Have a great day my friend!
GM Beth, What a powerful post! Beth, you are such a inspiration to me and your love of Jesus shines through your blogging!
I have to be careful and not blog too much…and leave my Bible sitting too long…but I always Know…I will recieve some WORD from your blog!!!!! There is “somehting” that draws me to you and your blog and I know it is the “spirit”! I hope you have a wonderful day! Nancy
You inspire me, Beth! I’m so glad you took the JW on! They have a glaze over their eyes and can’t hear about the real Jesus. My hubby spent one year with a leader in that church, then they parted ways amicably. Unbelievable how the enemy deceives them. Bless you for sharing your faith.
God is so good, Praise the Lord for your friend and the healing of her back! God’s word is true and praising Him everyday!
Beth, what an amazing story! I loved reading your TT list. Blessings to you!
Hi Beth. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!! Another great TT post from you, Beth! I was blessed!
How awesome to see God work right before your eyes. There is power in prayer. what a testimony for both of you!
Beautiful list my friend.

Mimi
God bless you, you are a mighty prayer warrior.
very good blog, congratulations
regard from Reus Catalonia
thank you
What a wonderful post. Praise God for the healing of your friend and for your witnessing to the witnesses. Happy Thankful Thursday!
That is amazing about your friend! Awesome. God is our Jehovah Rapha, we just need to believe! His timing is perfect, and so glad that at the moment that you prayed this happened. What a miracle! So glad I stopped here today.
Love in Him,
Nicole
What a wonderful post! I’m glad you were used to pray for your friend and “witness to the witnesses” as Laurie Ann said. I also liked your thankful list of being able to choose from several outfits to wear each morning. We don’t realize how blessed we are, some in other parts of the world do not have a choice of clothing.
I dido ALL your thankfulness. I hate to admit had I heard this about your friend from someone else, I’d be leary. That’s awful but I think we are hounded with so much false teaching and false “healings” on tv and what not, that we can become skeptic. However, I do NOT doubt you at all. Rather, I’m thankful that you’ve shared this story and this awesome reminder of how His healings do happen, are real, and very possible. If He can lengthen a woman’s leg, can He no heal a dead marriage, even with the fact of free will?!!!
Love,
P
There is power in prayer! Amazing. Thank you for not being afraid to take a stand and question the JW’s! Amen!
Wow, amazing story about the femur bone! I believe God can do ANYTHING!!
