Good morning everyone!
I opened my bible to Psalm 103 and that is where I started reading this morning. Psalm 103:2 really stood out to me.
Psalm 103:2
Praise the LORD, my soul,
and forget not all His benefits—
Hmmmm. Soul, don’t forget His benefits! Soul, be encouraged. Sometimes we have to remind ourselves and encourage ourselves.
What are His benefits?
Psalm 103:3-5
who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
Standing on those scriptures definitely gives us something to shout about!
Rejoice!
You are forgiven!
You are healed!
You are redeemed!
You are crowned with LOVE and COMPASSION!
You are satisfied with good things!
You are RENEWED!
Some of you may not see these things manifesting in your life here on earth, but God’s Word is truth. It is alive and moving. What we see with our eyes is not as “real” as God’s Kingdom and His ways.
I remember the days when I was bound by fear. I couldn’t leave my house or function as a normal young woman. I was bound by hell and the demons were laughing and rejoicing at my torment. FORGET NOT HIS BENEFITS! It was during that season that I began to stand on God’s Word. Even though I was hyperventilating, I would confess God’s Word: NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME SHALL PROSPER! GOD HAS GIVEN ME AUTHORITY TO TRAMPLE ON SNAKES, SCORPIONS, AND OVERCOME ALL THE POWER OF THE ENEMY. NOTHING BY ANY MEANS SHALL HARM ME!
Did God’s Word appear to be manifesting in my life in the natural? I was bound. I was tormented. Let me tell you the truth, it didn’t matter what the circumstances APPEARED to be … God’s Word was TRUTH. As I began to confess it, stand on it, and use it as my SWORD — the demons had to flee.
James 4:7
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Forget not His benefits and praise His Holy Name! Speak to yourself as David did, “Praise the Lord, my soul” (Psalm 103:2)!
Excellent word this morning from
His Book of Truth!! Going to let
my heart not be troubled and just
meditate on His awesome Word today!
Have a blessed weekend in Him, dear
Beth.
Hugs,
Sandy

The word of God is so incredible! It has the power to change our circumstances, take us out of our circumstances, or get us through our circumstances – no matter what they look like!
I was just browsing around blogger-land and found your post at random. Thank you so much for the encouraging words!

Amen Beth. I will claim the truth you shared. Thank you. Blessings.
Beautiful! As are His benefits. I so enjoyed reading them again today. Trust you had a sweet day with God.
I am going to do my best to memorize these scriptures this week, so that when those moments come and I feel defeated, I will be able to remind myself that by the grace of God, I am not. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for reminding me of His benefits towards me! Have a beautiful day!
