GOD IS GOOD! I often hear this comment when someone receives a good report.
Did I serve God for some type of “insurance” or something? I had to repent. I did repent!
Romans 8:28

Beth, I will echo a loud amen! God is good. Even when we don't understand the why's of situations, He cannot be anything but good. He does not contradict Himself and His Word. As I'm going through a very challenging time, in my heart I know that He is good and He has a purpose in it all.
Beth, you right on target. Yes He is good. At times we're under the false illusion that trouble will not stop at our door because we are believers. But whatever our situation is God's nature remains the same. Your post goes along so well with a passage of scripture I've been meditating on since I read it this morning about the tragedy Ezekiel suffered even after obeying God.

the time! I get upset when I
hear people say that God gave
them sickness. Sickness and
disease does not come from
God and does not bring glory
to God. He has a plan and a
purpose in everything that
touches us, but He doesn't
inflict us with sickness.
That's the work of the enemy.
We are not promised an easy
life but we are promised His
abiding presence through it all.
Yes. God is good all the time! When things go bad or not my way, I see the good that God brings out of it. Always!

Have you seen that movie "Billy Graham the early years"? It's on sale at Family Christian Bookstore. Your post reminded me of a guy who was in the ministry that Billy Graham knew when he was first starting out, who later lost his faith and turned from God altogether because of the horrible things going on during the war. He didn't understand that God is still good, even when the enemy is causing all kinds of pain & suffering. So sad when people forget and start blaming God, as if we humans are more compassionate than our Creator. Thanks for the reminder. Love u!

Amen! Yes-God is good! He is ever faithful and He keeps His promises!God is good always even through the trials and tribulations we face and go through. Even when we do not understand why, but He always has a plan and His ways are so much better than ours.

Yes Beth this is a potent question many believers even wonder…..how can God be good when bad things happen? It is a toughie. But, the Bible says He is good all the time.
