I cannot imagine what the people of Oklahoma experienced yesterday.   I think the most helpless feeling would be trying to get to a school to find your child.

I am sad for the loss of life and the destruction.   Tornadoes are just so powerful and in the natural there is little a person can do to protect himself.

Will you join me in praying for those who experienced the trauma of this horrific event yesterday?

Father God, I lift up everyone who experienced terror in the natural disasters in Oklahoma.   Father, I know You love them and I pray they will feel Your comfort.  I pray all trauma be cursed and cast out of their lives in Jesus’ Name — especially the children.   I pray all fear be removed and that they would be drawn closer to You through this somehow.   I know those who still have their loved ones will cling to them a little tighter.   Please take what satan meant to harm and use it to show the victims how much You love them in Jesus’ Name.   Father, I speak peace into the storms and ask that angels be loosed to burst every severe storm wide open — stopping all twisting.   I pray Your peace over the victims in Jesus’ Name.   Amen.
