America the Beautiful
O beautiful, for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America! God shed His grace on thee,
And crown thy good with brotherhood, from sea to shining sea.
O beautiful, for pilgrim feet
Whose stern, impassioned stress
A thoroughfare for freedom beat
Across the wilderness!
America! America! God mend thine ev’ry flaw;
Confirm thy soul in self control, thy liberty in law!
O beautiful, for heroes proved
In liberating strife,
Who more than self their country loved
And mercy more than life!
America! America! May God thy gold refine,
Till all success be nobleness, and ev’ry gain divine!
O beautiful, for patriot dream
That sees beyond the years,
Thine alabaster cities gleam
Undimmed by human tears!
America! America! God shed His grace on thee,
And crown thy good with brotherhood, from sea to shining sea!

Music and Lyrics by Lee Greenwood
——————————————————————————–
If tomorrow all the things were gone I’d worked for all my life,
And I had to start again with just my children and my wife.
I’d thank my lucky stars to be living here today,
‘Cause the flag still stands for freedom and they can’t take that away.
And I’m proud to be an American where as least I know I’m free.
And I won’t forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.
And I’d gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land God bless the U.S.A.
From the lakes of Minnesota, to the hills of Tennessee,
across the plains of Texas, from sea to shining sea,
From Detroit down to Houston and New York to LA,
Well, there’s pride in every American heart,
and it’s time to stand and say:
I’m proud to be an American where at least I know I’m free.
And I won’t forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.
And I’d gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land God bless the U.S.A
Joyridding princesses in swimsuits. Sounds like a strange day. LOL! Or a fun day for alittle girl. 🙂
Beth, how funny is that? Love your sense of humor and adventure. Never lose your childness. That is a compliment! I'm a kid at heart despite my age and I think it helps us to enjoy life. Have a great 4th and thanks for posting the words to Lee Greenwood's song. I have his YouTube video on Heart Choices so this is perfect.
Andrew was very interested in this post…a John Deere tractor and girls! Happy 4th to you and your family!
What fun, Beth! (Oh, and how did you get that FB networked blogs thing on your blog? I want one of those!)
Very cute!!! 🙂
Making rounds to celebrate 4th of July with everyone.
God bless you and your family as we celebrate our freedom in Christ and in this nation.
Blessings and love.
I'm so disappointed in those girls…they used to have such good reputations! Shame on them for being such a bad influence on Princess! LOL
I agree with everything you said about our country and the freedoms we celebrate.
Love you, girl!
Even farmers need a day off. How wonderful that the princesses took over. Cute!
And yes, God bless America, but more importantly…may America bless God.
So cute!!!
Happy Independence.
She is too cute. There always needs to be a Princess leader. She makes a great one!
Happy freedom day to you!
Have a really special holiday with your family:) She is a cutie!
Whatttt!!! Joyriding in a John Deere??? How could they!!! :o)
How cute!!
Yes, God bless the USA!! How blessed we are.
Have a great 4th!
~Beth
Uh-oh…better get an ignition lock for that John Deere! I wouldn't trust Barbie as far as I could throw her. Have the Happiest of 4ths!
If you nab a "cute ring leader" like that precious girl, who wouldn't forgive her for masterminding the carjacking? This is a cute story. Being Independence Day, I hope you had let her go 🙂 Happy 4th sister. Proud to be an American and humbled to enjoy the freedom freely given by the Lord! God bless.
Beth, I so love it how you enter into the world of your precious little daughter, you even make it fun to read!! The way you two are going, you'll wind up like me have your daughter as your best gal pal friend when she's grown up. That is incredibly special!
Happy 4th of July to all of you from a German girl who's never ever actually experienced this special day, particularly in the US itself.
hilarious pix!
Happy 4th of July.
Praying for our wonderful country.
Saw you on mimi's blog…cool~

Happy 4th July.
Collette xxx
LOL.
Happy Fourth!
I've spent more time of Facebook and Twitter than blogging. Haven't visited blogs in weeks- maybe a month. Anyway, just popping in to say, "Happy Independence Day!"
Goodness gracious, you nearly gave me a heart attack! I believed you, for a split second, until I saw that picture filled with plastic dolls 😛 very funny. I definitely have bizarre friends 😉 just the way I like 'em too!!
Have a wonderful (and safe) 4th of July!
Psst, do you have Twitter?
Happy 4th of July to you and your family, Beth!
♥Hope
Hi Beth,
One word ADORABLE! !!!!!

Sue
That is just soooo cute!
OH, that's the cutest little ring leader I've ever seen! That's too cute, Beth! Hope you had a beautiful 4th. Love all those patriotic songs. They always make my heart melt.
What a beautiful post Beth…
How cute!!! I bet the main princess..got the tracter..lol 😉 Hope y'all had a fun 4th! Nancy
Cute post!
Serious business – that our nation MUST honor God!
One day – every knee will bow and every tongue confess – that Jesus Christ is Lord!
Choosing JOY,
Stephanie
You had me going!
Great tribute to our amazing country!
Very cute story with the princess and her gang hi jacking the John Deere.
Great tribute for the 4th!
Nannette
Hilarious! She's too cute! Hope you had a good July 4th weekend!
Ok… that was too funny! I really thought someone had taken your tractor! I hope y'all had a great holiday!
Oh, how sweet! John Deere…that's our kind of tractors. My daddy owned the John Deere dealership in my hometown until his death…then, my brother ran it for my mother until about 3 years ago…they sold out.
But, I have to tell you…the title was a real attention getter. I was headed to bed and I scrolled down, saw that and stopped to come by to see if everything was ok. LOL…you got me!
((hugs))
Your princess is very beautiful.
Belated happy independence day. 🙂
That tractor freaked me out for a second LOL!!! That was funny! Happy LATE 4th to you and your family!!!
Not July 4th anymore, but wanted to leave a Saturday Sharefest comment for ya since I came by from SITS. How bout a Happy July 25th instead, then?!
