My mind is here …
My sweet little girl pretending to do my Mom’s nails.
Look at those brittle, thin hands.
So pitiful.
I have a Kindergarten student and parents who are suffering.  My daughter is at an exciting stage. She really LOVES going to school.  My parents are in a stage too, but their stage isn’t fun or exciting.
Oh, how I crave days of laughter with no obligations. Â
I am so thankful that God is carrying me and giving me grace to handle each day.
I pray my parents feel God carrying them too.  I’m not sure though …
I don’t know how people make it through life without a relationship with Jesus.
What would I do without Him?
Psalm 55:22
Cast your cares on the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous fall.
Beth – that verse has given me comfort many times in my life. Like you, I don’t know how people make it through this life without Jesus.
Blessings,
Joan
Love that verse! I too have often wondered how people can make it without Christ in their hearts! He has truly sustained me many times over!
Blessings, Beth….

Thank you so much Eryn! God bless you!
How precious. The seasons of life … so bittersweet. And just when you walk out of one, it’s time to enter into another. I’m thankful that even though the seasons change, our God stays the same, no matter what. May we keep our eyes on HIM!
So true! I am so thankful He never changes!
Beautiful pictures. This is something my sisters and I used to do for my mom in the nursing home.
Thanks Nannette. I paint my Mom’s nails when they need it. Bless her heart. So hard for her …
That’s so sweet of her to do. 🙂
I don’t know how people do either. It’s a mystery to me. Without the Lord in my life, I don’t think I would have the hope and faith that I do now.
Amen! Maybe that is why the world is such a dark place — so many are lost.
I love how your daughter is making memories of her grandmother during this season…and at the same time, blessing your Mom. God’s using her to make this season a little brighter for everyone. When the time comes for your Mom to leave this life, I promise you these will be the memories that remain. Not all the errands, the to-do lists, the demands, or the sadness…God bless you all and gie you continued grace during this stage in your life.
Thanks Angie. You know how this feels. Love you.
Beth, this is a beautiful post filled with faith and love. Two things that everyone needs. These photos of your beautiful daughter with your beautiful mother are so touching. You and your entire family are in my prayers.
With an extra prayer thrown in that God will see to it that smiles and laughter returns soon, and remains.
Thank you Nicole. My parents especially need your prayers. Bless you!
So true – what would we do without Him? Even in the hard, not so fun places He is there with the strength we need. So thankful for that – God bless you!
God bless you too Deidra!
What a blessing your daughter is to your mother! I’m sure your mother will treasure that time with her. You are raising a wonderful little woman of God, teaching her how to bless others around her. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you Tasha. Bless you!
