As you know from my earlier blog this morning, I had some serious issues on my heart. However, from the moment I arrived at church I felt nothing but JOY! It sounded like angels were singing with us as we worshiped our Lord. Ahhhh, such a blessing!
After our little Princess worshiped with us a while, she was ready to go back to her class. “Boaz” walked away with her and I continued to sing and enjoy my time at KPIC. The next thing I knew, Pastor Taylor was praying and I heard a loud giggle burst out behind me. I turned around to see what was happening and I saw my friend Deanna covering her mouth and my husband covering his face — scurrying to join my side.
Apparently, as “Boaz” was coming back to his seat, he stopped one row too short and landed next to Deanna. He put his arm around her (no, not her shoulders, but her waist) thinking he was with me! LOL!!! Deanna burst out laughing (slapped at him) and the 3 rows of people behind us snickered and saw the entire thing. “Boaz” couldn’t believe what he had done and felt the blood rush into his face. He suddenly began to sweat and felt flush. Poor thing. It really got away with him. THANKFULLY WE HAVE KNOWN DEANNA FOR YEARS. He kept saying, “Beth, what if it had been someone I didn’t know?!?!?” He was also relieved that he didn’t do anything worse than put his arm around her. LOL Poor Boaz.
Deanna had a guy from our church (who witnessed the event) ask her if we have formed some type of “wife swapping life group” … ha!
So, for those who don’t know Deanna … the picture at the top is of me and Deanna at church last Sunday. From behind, our hair is very similar. Boaz didn’t realize he was with her until he saw my jacket in front of him. LOL
Yes…that David should join LARRY THE CABLE GUY as one of the funniest people I know. Only problem is that he isn’t trying to be funny…he just IS FUNNY…..I am putting up police tape in my husbands spot next week and installing neon arrows to your seat Beth next week in case David gets lost again…..
Very funny! If that happend to Tom he would have died. I don’t think Tom would have been able to make it thru the service.
Oh! Thanks for following my blog! I love finding new friends!
Love, Ernestine 🙂
Your hair color and style is so similar that I can totally understand why it happened.
I once sneaked up and gave someone a hug once and it wasn’t my husband either, lol!
I have an award for you on my blog!
I see the resemblance and sometimes when we are in worship we get kind of taken away… that is really funny.
About the awards: sometimes I have done an “open” post and just offered them to anyone who wants them because sometimes it’s hard to find the time! That way you don’t have to link to anybody. And you really don’t have to do the post anyway!
that is so funny! sounds so innocent too…lol! it is something I would have done! lol
thanks for visting my blog, and leaving such kind words behind. …and congrats on the award that you got today!
take care and we will definitely have to come to see each other again!
My poor husband would have had to leave service!!! I probably would have had to also because I just don’t think I’d have been able to hold it together, much less focus on what God was trying to say to me!!!
