Oh how I needed what I received at church today!
Since the corn maze season I have felt dry — as if I was just floating through each day. I have cried out to God for direction, “Lord, what am I doing for You? I don’t want to waste this life You have given me!”
This morning was just what King Jesus ordered. Seriously. He was lifted up in our service and I really got a sense of His royalty. I so rarely refer to Him as King – though He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He is my Lord, my Friend, my Deliverer, my Rock, my Shield, and yes – my King.
I began to weep as I saw a vision of Him. He was so pleased with the worship. Jesus is always lifted up in our church, but even more-so today.
Matthew 17:8
When they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only.
The Holy Spirit stirred up a hunger in me to be more dedicated to quiet times with Him.
Yes, just what I needed today.
