Oh my. I’m out of control! My friend Tara (Keeping up with the Kellys) got me linked up with blogfrog!

Do you know what blogfrog is all about? I didn’t either. Blogfrog allows you to create your own community. So, for example — all of you (because you’re my friends) could come and join my community. As members of my community, you could all get to know each other better and participate in discussions. It is interesting. You can also post your own discussion questions on my community too. I’ve only been on it a week and I’ve already picked up a couple of new followers on blogger. If you want to come visit my community and join it —

just click HERE. It is easy peasy! I hope to see you there!

Now if that wasn’t enough, I just discovered TWEETDECK! Oh my! Why have I waited until now to download Tweetdeck? It is free. And no, I’m not getting compensated for giving a shout-out to Blogfrog and Tweetdeck.

What is Tweetdeck? I didn’t know either until I downloaded it. I noticed some of my friends on Twitter would have “sent via Tweetdeck” under their tweets — so of course I had to inquire.

If you use Twitter and actually try to have a conversation with someone on it, you know that you have to constantly “refresh” your screen. I am still trying to figure out everything about Twitter, but Tweetdeck allows me to have conversations without refreshing the screen. And there is a column that shows each tweet that has my user name mentioned. It makes it so much easier. Oh, and IF you use Twitter, you know that you are only allowed a certain number of characters. Tweetdeck automatically shortens any URL’s you might paste (using less characters). Woo hoo!

Even now, as I’m typing up this post, a little window popped up in the corner to show me my friends new tweets. So cool!

Ok, back to the columns — I have other columns with some of the hash tags I want to follow. So cool! Ok, I tried to show you what my Tweetdeck looks like, but the picture isn’t so great. Sorry!

If you are on Twitter and we aren’t connected — please find me there. You can find my little birdie on the left side of my blog. If you’re on blogfrog and haven’t joined my community — what are you waiting for? :o) AND if you aren’t on either — sign up (free) and jump on board with the craziness.

One very important feature you’ll want to KNOW when you use Tweetdeck! To reply to someone’s tweet, you place your cursor OVER that person’s picture. FYI Once you do, several options will appear.
