Ok, so this is kind of funny, but at the same time I’m like “huh”? I guess I live in the blog world too much.
In blog land, I deal with a bunch of Sistah’s with a few brothers sprinkled here and there. We put it out there for all to read. Isn’t that what writers do? I am an avid journaler (is that a word?) and have been since I was in middle school.
Stage right: In walks Twitter. Well, that wasn’t a problem because I didn’t advertise my blog on Twitter. BUT THEN COMES BLOGFROG (It is all your fault Tara – lol — teasing) and THEN TWEETDECK!!! Well, with Tweetdeck I can carry on conversations. Love it!
However, I didn’t consider those who actually have my tweets sent to their phones. LOL Seriously — there is NO WAY I’d have my phone tweeting all day. Of course, if someone doesn’t follow a blogger or marketer then they are probably safe. Note to self: There are people in my life who don’t blog and don’t understand this part of the world.
So here is where I feel kind of bad and yet … strange. I tweeted about my blog post concerning my Spanx find. I got a call from my friend whose husband follows me on Twitter. He was concerned about my Tweets and felt that maybe he should stop following me. I love this couple. They are close to us and I wouldn’t want to freak them out in any way.
It never occurred to me in a MILLION years that a brother from church (lol & waaaa) would be getting a tweet on his phone about my undergarments. For cryin’ in the rain! Now I wonder if my pastor’s got that blog post too!??! And of course I tweeted about it probably 5 or 6 times — trying to get blog hits! So dear pastors and guy-friends. If you were offended I am sincerely sorry.
Quite an interesting feeling I have inside.
I’m sure I bug the mess out of people who have my tweets going to their phones! That is the fun of Tweetdeck — chatting with others. Oh man. Why can’t I just have fun? LOL Now I’m not going to feel free to chat on there anymore. :-/
Beth, you crack me up! Most of the people in my church aren't into blogging or tweeting except a rare few. They never read my blog either so I think I'm safe. LOL.
I had to laugh at your reference to Spanx. You're too young! I thought only middle aged gals like me knew about Spanx. I guess it's good nobody I know will read your comments, right?
Love you,
Debbie
Oh no! Who knew?!?! I hope he will remember what a nice person you are 😉
That is so funny! Your pastor possibly getting Tweets about your Spanx obsession. I don't think about people getting my Tweets on their phones because I don't get them on mine. The BlogFrog bug gotcha!! You use it more than I do:-)
Oh! And, I downloaded TweetDeck all bc of you!! So we're even now…right?
I am rolling over this!!!!

Congrats on your blog makeover win!
Beth,
Thanks for the follow. Enjoyed the Psalm you have up!
Oopsie!
lol
You are so funny, lol
Oh Beth! That is really just too funny, but I can understand you probably are truly mortified, LOL!
I am laughing so hard I am crying. My Pastor use to read my blog, not sure if he does anymore. I will have to keep this in mind. I almost did a post about my bra the other day, but I couldn't find a scripture for it! Anyways, you keep me laughing. I wish I knew how to use Twitter, BlogFrog and TweetDeck. I am so challenged when it comes to those things! Would you help a girl out?
That is hilarious!! Tweeting to your pastors and your friends husbands about your undies!! Thanks for the laughter!! Love and Blessings
LOLOLOL oh my gosh!! I would DIE!!!
This is so funny! You have so brightened my day and I have laughed so much!
Enjoy your weekend!
Blessings.
HAHAHAHA…. that's just *too* funny, Beth! =D Thanks for making me smile. And thank you for stopping by my blog and visiting. =)
