May I be a “little” off color here? I mean, we’re all friends, right?
Yesterday my dear “Boaz” called and asked if I could bring some checks to his office. Being the sweet wife that I am (hee hee), I said, “Sure, but what is in it for me?” I was FLIRTING with him and he didn’t catch a clue. He said, “Nothing is in it for you” and laughed.
When I walked into his office, his friend/employee Neal said, “WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?” Oh my … “Boaz” had told him what I had said!!! Being the discrete lady that I am, I told Neal, “Well, I was trying to flirt with my husband, but he didn’t have a clue” … so Neal hugged me.
I gave my husband the checks he wanted and the guy he was chatting with on the phone said something about me wanting something for bringing him the checks. SCREAM. DOES MY HUSBAND SHARE EVERYTHING? I won’t tell you what I said to his friend Randy (who was on the phone), but needless to say, I will be more careful when I flirt with my man. He won’t misunderstand next time and hopefully won’t broadcast it. Of course, here I am broadcasting it, but it is MY choice at this point. Ha. It was my flirt, so it is MY prerogative to share, right?
Honestly, it goes to show you that even after 20 years of marriage (and 22 years together) — he still doesn’t “get” me. Ha. That’s ok, it also goes to show that after 20 years of marriage, we can still flirt and have fun together.
Have a super blessed day everyone!

Ya, Randy and I have our moments too…I just learned that he doesn't like tomatoes on his hamburgers. Girl, we have been together for EVAAAAA!! Where have I been all these years, lol

You guys are just too cute!
It does take something out of it when you have to explain it to them. Still, I'm sure he's glad that you made the effort to flirt. My hubby would be so happy I flirted he wouldn't be able to contain himself…he'd be like, sorry guys, I've got to go home right now! haha Love ya girl.
My hubby and I have been married 27 years and we flirt OFTEN. It is VERY important to keep that spark in your marriage.
