I wish there was a way I could combine my prayer meme with this one. Please be sure to check out my Fearless Friday post as well (sorry to have two today).
My beautiful friend Alicia at More Than Words created the Friday Photo Flashback meme so that we could share those PRE-digital photos! Grab a scanner and join us. :o)
Gotta love the 80’s right? Those were the days of big hair, herringbone chains (the more the better), and dark blue eyeliner!
To join the fun, visit Alicia by clicking the photo button above.
Love it!! You rocked the 80’s!! Would you say a prayer for us we have an open adoption and we meet with birthfather tomorrow for the very first time. Please pray that the visit will go smooth. Thank you so much!! Have a great weekend!
Thanks for visiting my blog! Girl, I gotta tell ya, I clicked on your Weight Loss Photos and WOW!!! You look AWESOME! I’m gonna have to check out some more of your page so I can read your story.
A Sister in Christ,
C.C.
I’m telling you…you haven’t aged a single day! Do tell…what’s your secret? I had several herringbone chains and wore them constantly. Oh, yes, blue eyeliner was BIG! What a fun walk down memory lane!
Nice pic! Beautiful as ever! God bless.
I can so relate to the 80’s picture – in fact, I have one that looks almost the same (except with brown hair!) What fun!
Ahhhh, yes! Those were the days. =0)
I’d forgotten about herringbone necklaces. It made me laugh!
You were beautiful! And you still are!
Ohh. I forgot about the chains….hilarious. You still look the same…amazing!
Classic pick. Love it, the 80’s rocked 😀
Happy Friday! Have a great weekend.
LOL..oh my gosh..you totally brought back a memory for me! You had blue eyeliner, but I had blue MASCARA!!! Hahahahahahaha!!
Love this picture! You totally match w/ your feathered hair!!!! Lookin’ good! And you really do look the same!!!!
I think it is a good thing I wasn’t old enough to wear makeup in the 80s between the blue eyeliner, eyeshadow and mascara. Oh my goodness!
Hey! I love that picture. I love the 80’s…best years of my life:)
Cute picture Beth. I well remember those days of the Dallas big hair. And those herringbone chains; I had a few myself. LOL.
I remember the blue eyeliner. I kept trying it, but it didn’t work with my skin tone. lol
Cute photos!
Ohh how fun! I’m still old enough to remember the eighties! My mom would curl my bangs up really high when I was a kid haha. I have pictures, haven’t burned them yet lol!
80s make-up was all about fun! I loved it…you were definitely rocking the look…you look “totally awesome”.
Dontcha miss the 80’s hairdo? My sister is correct, my mother used to curl my bangs up to copy her Mexican friends ((whimpers)) and unlike my sissy, I burned the pictures LOL
At least you pulled off the look (mutters)
Hey Beth, I would be gaining weight if it wasn’t for the challenge’s accountability. Join it… dew it… dew it! Heck, I’ll just sign you up. What’s yer email address and password? :o)
Just kidding but I do hope you’ll find an accountability factor soon 🙂 you look great already anyways!
Classy Lady!
You look great Beth!
smooches,
Larie
You love as beautiful back then as you do today, my sweet friend.
I know about the herringbone chains…I cleaned out my jewelry box last week and I had at least 4 in different sizes, lengths and widths that I wore all at once.
Have a great weekend!
((hugs))
Well, this pic is straight out of the film ‘Grease’ … lovely.
It’s wonderful you and others at that age looked so wholesome and lovely.
As a kid of the 70’s, the era of Pink Floyd, etc. I was a bit of a ‘wild’ kid, and probably bit off more than I could chew … resulting in stuff you know about … anyways, I added my wild pics to my existing blog post, as these memes are not really part of my blog theme, unless they are woven in for a particular story I like to tell.
Anyway, it’s lovely to see all these pics of you and others from that time ….
Your flashback photos bring back so many memories…though we live miles and miles apart, some things are just so similar. Blessings my friend. You were cute then and still are.
Woo Hoo, you were gorgeous.
LOLOL, you looked great in the blue eye make-up! I remember my mom doing her eyes like that too, and wishing I could too!
Love the feathered hair cut with the curled bangs!! You look so beautiful, Beth! ^_*
Thanks for the prayers!!
Love the blue eye-shadow! Ya know it’s coming back?!:) Blessings friend!
Oh my friend, I think you looked beautiful with the big hair, the herringbone chains, and the dark blue eyeliner! And of course, you look beautiful now too!
