My fiance at the time (now hubby) had sent me those beautiful roses to work. Daddy was cooking supper (see the apron) and decided to pose near the roses for a picture.
This is right before we walked into the church. My sister and Daddy were with me … everyone else was ahead of us. Look at the excitement! Priceless.

Your dress is beautiful for the day…I remember when the lace and beads and all were so popular. I don’t even know what is “popular” now. Have you noticed how the dresses have become less formal, less details, more simple. There is something to be said for the intricate details from back then.
