To begin your tour … I thought I would start here …
Some splashes of red in our family room.
The red bowl on display (below) is wooden and made in the NC/VA mountains. That piece started my desire to to sprinkle red throughout my home. A local artist painted a picture of our red barn (though the red doesn’t stand out in this picture). The frame is made out of an old barn that one of my husband’s ancestors had built many years ago.
Of course, the Radio Flyer horse brings some lovely red into the room!
Red plate and red pillows add some color to a very neutral room.
This is the last picture of the red in our family room. Red pillows and red trinkets.
On to the dinning room. I have these beautiful gladiolas on nesting tables.
The rug is red and though you can’t tell, there are red lamps, pictures, and roses in the room.
Moving on to our bed room. Here are some red trinkets.
This is in our mountain house — so I still don’t have anything over our bed. I don’t know what to do with this wall!!! Nancy, I need YOU! I brought in red lamp shades, and a pillow with a red stripe.
I have this beautiful amaryllis that blooms all year (ha). And the pictures in the room display beautiful red magnolia blooms. (Are there such a thing?)
Skipping to the kitchen. I have red berries on top of our hutch with red glasses throughout.
This is in our mudroom/entry way.
This is in the mudroom too. I decorated the top of this hall tree with some red from Magic Mart (ha)! Seriously, it is a little place in the mountains.Believe it or not, I have more red to show! You’ll have to wait until next time. But after a couple of these, I will be all OUT of red pictures. Ha. Maybe I exposed too many at once. Sorry, I got excited. I love RED.

Very lovely my friend.
Beth, I loved the red choices you had!! Beautiful!
I looked around to see what I had that was red…..
Only found the coffee creamer container, and I don’t think that counts!!
So in other words, I have no red in my house!! :o)
Have a blessed day!

Your homes are beautiful, Beth! I don’t have much red, other than when someone around here starts to bleed. Oh, and that 19 ft. tall wall I faux painted “hunter red.” I need a makeover!

Every Red item you have is just beautiful!
I see we have that in common to throw in red accessories and make a room pop.
I adore that look.

Very elegant.
Thanks so much for the sweet comment on my Red drapes. I know BB&B still carries them.
They are called "Majestic".

Hi Beth,
Your home is absolutely beautiful. My favorite are those two matching upholstered armchairs! I’m on the hunt for two myself. Too bad I don’t live in NC, the furniture capital of the world!! 😉
