Yes, we were FLOCKED by some friends. Actually is it a great idea. A family in our church purchased these cuties. They are charging 10 to 20 dollars to put these in an unsuspecting yard. They are also selling non-flocking insurance. Ha. What a great idea. They have already raised over $3500 to send their daughter on a trip.
For those of you who have read Alice in Wonderland, my daughter had the idea of playing crochet with some of the flamingos. Ha.
Later that morning, I went to a street fair. I couldn’t resist this cut out. Oh, Father — please let me be this size someday. How do I look as a brunette?
Ok, the past two times I’ve been to Angie’s house, she has served SPINACH DIP. The last time I ate it, I had some spinach in my teeth. Did anyone tell me? NO. Last night I told everyone, “Please tell me if I have some spinach in my teeth.” After Lisa and I posed for a picture, I noticed a spot in between my front teeth!
Anyway, poor Princess threw up in her bed at 2am. Then she had diarrhea. My Boaz was determined that I needed to give her a tiny bit of our Immodium for the diarrhea, but I just knew I shouldn’t (AND I DIDN’T). I talked to a pharmacist and a nurse and she is too young for anti-diarrhea medicine. The BRAT diet is for her until her system gets settled: Banana’s, Rice, Applesauce, and Toast.
I would appreciate any prayers you send her way. Of course, being almost 5 — she isn’t NOT interested in lying around. She has finally gotten her way and is up drawing and watching movies.
Meanwhile, she and I have missed church (boo!) and I’ve been washing all of our bedding.
I hope you’re weekend has been great!
Came back to update at 1:49pm. Princess is running around feeling fine. She has eaten some banana, a few ice pops, and some dry Cheerios. She has also beaten me TWICE in some neck and neck games of Go Fish! Thanks for your prayers.
Beth, you are so funny! Sorry to read that your little girl is sick though.
Love you,
Debbie
Too funny! It is always so awkward with the teeth thingy!!! Sorry about your sick little one…hope she is ok now…Sue
Hope your daughter gets to feeling better soon!
Glad your little one is feeling better Beth! AND I have to say I LOVE LOVE LOVE the idea of the flamingos! LOL
What a great idea for raising money! I hope you are passing them along! Eating spinach pizza always scares me so I flash my teeth for Dwight or else I will feel self-conscious the rest of the day until I can find a mirror.
BTW, I really like you as a brunette and that hair style really suits you too!
I just serve the spinach dip to you now cause I know you're gonna get some in your teeth & then I'll have some company when I do all my crazy & embarrassing stuff! LOL
Glad your little Princess is feeling better – we missed you at church! Pastor T did a great job, it really got me fired up.
Love ya
Oh I'm glad to know she's feeling better. Having sick little ones is no fun at all.
Love the flamingos. Too cute!
Praising God that your princess is feeling better.
We've done the falmingo thing too!! It is a great way to raise money for different causes. Our church youth class did it one year.
Hope your little princess is feeling much better now!!
~Beth
Love the flocking. 🙂 I heard of a Youth Group that stuck a toilet in people's yard to raise money for a mission trip. People paid hefty little sums for the anti-toilet insurance, I assure you. LOL
Hope that your little princess is on the mend, soon! We just finished a week of that gunk going through all 4 kids last week. Was a LONG week!
