Today I link with Angie at Free Spirit Haven to share prayer requests and lift up others.
Prayer requests:
There are so many hurting families with sick children on blogger.
Please lift up baby Stellan and his family. Click on the button for the latest update.
Please remember to pray for little Abby:
Also, if you will remember my Daddy. Please pray that he will have peace in his thoughts and assurance that Jesus is with him. Please pray for STRENGTH in his back and legs in Jesus’ Name.
Is anyone praying for Obama? I can honestly say I’m having a hard time praying for him. Please pray he has the fear of the Lord, for it is the beginning of wisdom.
We are heading back from the mountains tomorrow. See you then.
Thank you for lifting up these requests my friends!

I, too, am finding it very hard to pray for President Obama…I really need to be better about that. May God open his eyes and his heart.
I will definitely lift all the other requests up in my prayers. Have a safe trip back home!
I will be praying for your dear dad, as well as your other request. Have a safe trip.
I’m standing in the gap beloved one. What came to my my mind when you asked for prayers for your president was,,,also pray that the Lord place a ‘love’ for this man in your heart. All I kept thinking was how Jesus said for us to love our enemies. Not saying your president is the enemy, but when our leaders (I’m Canadian, so I need to practice this with our Prime Minister)are not following God’s precepts, decisions are made that are not godly. I need to pray for a love also for our Prime Minister…when we pray from the love, instead of the anger, how much more will our prayers pour forth to God,in a gentleness, hope and belief that God WILL touch our leaders in a mighty way…((hugs))Ok,,I’ve rambled enough,,lol.
Thanks Beth for the reminders…love you..
So hard to see innocent children in the grips of pain and sickness. Prayers for them and your father, too.
And prayers for our President. Good Lord knows he needs them…
I’m praying for your dad for certain – and I also find it tricky to pray for Obama. Just pray for him to follow God. God put him there for a reason, which I’m pretty convinced I will NEVER understand this side of heaven, but I trust God.
Abby has been on my heart for some time now. And I only recently heard about Stellan. But I will pray for the two little ones who are hurting. It breaks my heart to see what they go through at such a young age. And of course, their families. I’ll remember your dad too. And yes, our President needs lots of prayer. Hugs to you and have a safe trip home, Beth.
Praying along side you friend!
Love,
mimi
I’m praying and believing. I agree, it’s SO hard to pray for Obama, but he’s the one that needs it the most!
i always pray for our leaders but it is not always easy. have fun in the mountains!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Praying for President Obama is the hardest person that I’ve ever had to pray for and I am not doing it near enough. I promise to do better…it is not about me but it is about what God commands us to do whether we like it or not or whether it feels good or not.
Thanks for reminding me of my obligation to God not our president or myself.
Love you! Have a safe and wonderful trip.
Ohh, I will pray that God spares those sweet, precious children. I pray that God will put a hedge of protection around them and divinely intervene in their health and lives in such a mighty way!
I am lifting each one of these little children up in prayer! And I really think we all need to be praying for our President he really really needs them!!
have a blessed weekend!!
Thanks for the reminder to pray for Obama.
Please pray for us as my DH was laid off. His last day on the job is May 31 and it would be nice to have something lined up to go over to.I know God is in control.
