Today I link with my sweet friend Angie at Free Spirit Haven to share prayer requests. If you would like to join us, click here to grab the lion button.
Please pray for:
- Our country. I feel like I am watching Sodom and Gomorrah set up camp here. (2 Chronicles 7:14 states, “If My people, who are called by My Name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”)
- The families who are struggling financially. There seem to be so many people in our lives who have lost jobs.
- Families who have recently lost their loved ones.
- Randy Smith who will begin radiation soon for testicular cancer.
- Maxine Smith who is burying her father today (Randy’s wife).
- Steve Batten who is undergoing radiation AND chemo. Please be in agreement with me that the cancer cells will be cursed in the Name of Jesus. Just as Jesus cursed the fig tree and it withered and died, curse these cancerous cells to wither and die in the Name of Jesus.
- The elderly.
- Patricia who is dealing with some upper respiratory issues.
Thank you so much for agreeing with me in prayer. Have a blessed Friday! (And friends, please forgive me for not visiting you much this week. Each day has been action packed and today is no different. I will be back on track soon.)
Your first prayer request has been placed upon my heart for months now also. When I pray for the ‘nation’, I am praying for the entire world. My heart is broken. I have cried many tears and asked God to forgive us. We, have turned away from God’s precepts..we NEED to turn back to our Father….Thanks for joining me in standing in the gap beloved sister…I too have not been able to visit others…my week has been overflowing,,praising God though through it all and thanking Him for His grace and mercy…
Good morning Beth, it’s good to read your words so early this morning. Not going to work this morning, been a little under the weather with upper respiratory issues. If you like you can say a little prayer for my healing so I have energy today:) Blessings!
How grateful I am that we can bring our requests before the Father. I too am concerned about our country and join you in prayer for our leaders and that people’s hearts will be softened to the Lord. You’re a real prayer warrior, Beth. And don’t worry about not visiting all of our blogs. You do pretty well though, I must say.
ouw……. hope God hears all of your prayer and gives you the best…… nice to be your friend……
I join you in praying for each one of the requests. Can I ask you to pray for my sweet friend, Amy? She was recently diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and her son is about to undergo risky brain surgery. Looks like her husband might lose his job soon…he, also, has been having health issues. Thanks so much, Beth!
Beth,
Thank you for always listing requests…I prayed over them all…
Have a wonderful weekend!

Mimi

Oh..and thank you for that sweet comment on my picture! I was 27 yrs. old there!
I am in shock. I was wondering why you rarely post then I realized I wasn’t ‘following’ you. I am baffled! I have to say, that is the first time it has happened to me and I apologize for not commenting on your blog in a while. Please forgive me and I always look forward to your comments. I gotta say, I would have never guessed you were at that weight :o) you carry it well! Thank you for sharing your personal story with me, I truly appreciate it.
Yep, my skinny sister thinks it’s EASY to lose weight. Ain’t she cruel!!
I checked out your weight loss pictures and it is extremely INSPIRING! I’m sorry but there is NO way you’re at that weight 😉 I demand proof!! :o)
Hi Beth,
I too am so burdened for our Nation and I will come into agreement with you over these other requests. Thank you for sharing.
