Bonnie, the Faith Barista, asked us share our thoughts on the word adventure. That is EXACTLY what I’m on right now! An adventure to press in deeper with the Lord.
I am EXCITED about 2012!
Months ago, the Lord revealed to me through a dream that I would have more clarity about my calling and direction in January and February of this year. Well, as always He has been faithful! I really am on an adventure — an adventure to find the secret things, the heavenly things.
Isaiah 48:6b
From now on I will tell you of new things, of hidden things unknown to you.
I am going on an expedition in the Spirit to dig for gems! Would you like to join me?
I want to share something with you that happened while I was worshiping this past Friday night. I pray it will increase your hunger to have holy experiences with the Lord. I was worshiping at a place where many can gather to worship freely. I was enjoying the freedom, moving around as I pleased when I suddenly saw Jesus standing in front of me. He had a BIG smile on His face. Without opening His mouth, I understood Him to say, “Look at you! Look how FREE you are!” (That may not have been His exact words, but something close to that.) I knew exactly what He meant. I AM free now! I believe I am walking in the most freedom I have ever had and trust me — it has been quite a process over the years.
Suddenly I noticed He was gone and I couldn’t see Him any longer. I said, “Where are you Lord?” and I felt Him say He was behind me. Then I understood that He was going to take His Hand and wipe through my mind to remove any residual effects (or spiritual cobwebs) from all the years of fear and anxiety!
Later that evening, I saw Him sitting next to me on the floor. He definitely came to me that night as a Friend. My friend Tammy and I were sharing the different ways He shows Himself to us, but that night He came as my Brother and Friend.
It was as if my spirit”man” expanded that night. I felt something different in the deepest core of my being. I don’t know another way to say it.
NOW is the time to dig deeper friends.
It is going to be an exciting time for the Church Body! We must be prepared!
Do you like adventures? I can’t think of a better one to go on than one with the Lord! I am truly excited!
In the natural, we are taking our daughter to Disney World for the first time, but I am MUCH MORE excited about THIS than a trip to a bunch of worldly stuff.

Amen! As much as I would LOVE to take my family with you guys to Disney World…I am so glad that I AM on this adventure with the Lord (and I get to share it with you my friend!) Love you
God definitely used Linda to bring us together Angie! I love you and I’m glad we are on this adventure together!
I just know this is going to be an adventure of a year for many of us. And we can be confident that God is good and He is with us as believers. I long to go deeper in my relationship with Jesus too.
Love you,
Debbie
Yes, He is with us Debbie! I love how my friends hunger for more of Him. God bless you today and always!
Beth, I get excited just reading this. I am excited for you. Truly, Papa is faithful. I can totally relate to the fear. I’ve been battling it for many years of my life and still find myself battling when in certain situations. One thing is for sure, I am confident in my Deliverer. I look forward to experiencing such encounters with my Friend. Blessings!
Erica, He set me free and He will do the same for you! Continue to stand on His Word my Sister! Yes, He is our Deliverer! God bless you!
Wow, Beth what an awesome blessed experience. And thanks for the reminder that my church has a worship and prayer thing tomorrow night, I had completely forgotten!
Glad I could remind you! :o) I pray it will be an awesome experience with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!
It’s those deeper experiences with Him that cause us to desire Him even more. He is so faithful to manifest Himself to us in those ways, to catapult us to the next level. Doesn’t quite compare to Disney World, but how fun that will be too!
So true Barbie! I’d much rather be with God’s people in His presence than Disney. :-). I pray God will use us there on our vacation. God bless you Barbie!
