Life never seems to slow down does it? Maybe you’re in a season where you have some quiet time, but for some reason I just seem to be busy all of the time.
Psalm 63:1
O God, you are my God,
earnestly I seek You;
my soul thirsts for You,
my body longs for You,
in a dry and weary land
where there is no water.
There was an awesome service going on at a place near our home that I would have liked to attend last night, but my nose was totally stopped up from pollen or something — so that blocked me. I don’t mean sniffles, I mean miserably stuffy.
Selfishly, I needed that time of refreshing! I really wanted to go.
My heart is to seek the Lord. I do hunger and thirst for Him and His Presence!
I know that sooner than later my responsibilities will shift from my parents back to our fall business, but somehow I will get back into a healthy routine.
I feel like a dry land when I don’t have time with Him.

What a beautiful post picture. My heart grows weary when I do not spend time with my Father. Things are busy, but I know my heart is refreshed when I do! Praying you have a blessed week in His presence my friend!
I agree with Barbie, I love this picture!
Allergies are not fun at all, I hope you feel better soon.
I too long for God, I just want to always be in His presence. It is so glorious and warm, so loving and secure, so joyful!
Praying He will wash you in His awesome presence.
Blessings,
I know what you mean, Beth. Our souls thirst for the Lord, and we need quiet moments to be refreshed and revived. This spring seems to be especially bad for allergies. Hope you feel better and have some time for refreshing!
