Yep, I keep hearing, “Keep your focus on Me Daughter.” It is hard to feel heavy or any self-pity when we keep our focus on the Lord, isn’t it?

Beth, that's exactly what I had to do yesterday. I had a time of fear and anxiety that I couldn't shake. I began to meditate on Scripture so I could replace the lies with the Truth. I know when I'm tired, hungry or stressed, I am most vulnerable.
Life is hard but God is good. And He is ready to put His arms around us and comfort us. I LOVE the image you used!

Yes, I feel it… just these last few days I have been feeling the brunt of it. Thank you for the scriptures… I know God has my back- he is always looking after me & keeps me in his way!
I try not to focus on my feelings per say because feelings can be deceiving. I made a decision years back that no matter what happened I would never give up on God or life.. keep on keeping on!

The Holy Spirit is always there to help us through and remind us whose child we are. More importantly remind us that the stupid devil is already a defeated foe.. The thing is he, the devil knows that the battle is in our minds, so he tries to bring all sorts of crazy things to get us to dwell on them and then be burned by them.. he is a foolish liar! lol
I recently have had the reminding from the foolish defeated foe, about all my responsibilities and more so my unminifested(yest, for they are coming) prayers… but I refuse to listen to Him … the words of encouragement I get from God is — "Be still and follow my lead, do not be anxious for nothing"
I tell you folks – God is a GOOOOOOOOOD DADDY!
