Psalm 92:12-15The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God.
They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, proclaiming, “The LORD is upright; He is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in Him.”
What a wonderful scripture to stand on!
The world looks at old age as the END of a road. When you think of the elderly, you often envision a depressed scene: wheel chairs, canes, medicine, heaviness, and pain. Does it have to be this way? NO.
What does the scripture say above? THEY WILL STILL BEAR FRUIT IN OLD AGE. THEY WILL STAY FRESH AND GREEN. Praise God!
I’ve have heard so many people speak curses over themselves about aging.
I shared yesterday:
Proverbs 23:7
As he thinks in his heart, so is he. (emphasis mine)
The battle starts in our mind folks.
It seems to be an epidemic around here lately. People are allowing their thoughts to drive them — to determine the direction (or lack of direction) they take.
When will we learn to stand on God’s Word? What will it take?
Hosea 4:6
My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.
I am praying that men and women of God will RISE UP in the Name of Jesus. It is time for us to get serious about our walk with the Lord.
There is a hurting world who needs us.

I pray you walk in victory today~

Amen! I'm also reminded of the scripture, "take every thought captive". We can't like our minds wander down those paths. We have to keep our minds on Christ.
Blessings to you my friend!
Great post.
I have an important hearing tomorrow that will determine and would love for you to pray for me.
Hugs & Love,
Mimi
Amen!! Good preachin' again, Beth!
Just yesterday, I met a spry and perky 80 something year old woman at the post office. We were talking about the weather and how much were were enjoying the sunshine. She mentioned that she loves it because it keeps her feeling young. Then she mentioned her age, told me she starts her day with Church and then breakfast at the town diner. She then said "As long as I keep my mind young, my age is just a number." How she focuses her life: starting her day with the Lord I'm sure sets the tone for how she then goes about her business.
I was just thinking about doing a blog on word curses we speak over ourselves…and then I came to read your blog! Oh well, we were on the same page (yet again). Thanks for the encouragement. Love ya
Praying for so many….so many with serious health issues all around us!
GOD BLESS!

I'm so glad you're sharing about the power of our words Beth. They carry such power over us. We believe what we keep putting into our minds. Sometimes I replace my fears with Scriptures and that helps so much.
Blessings and love,
Debbie
