2 Peter 1:3
God’s divine power has given us everything we need for life and for godliness. This power was given to us through knowledge of the One who called us by His Own glory and integrity.
I am thankful that God has given us EVERYTHING we need. What a loving Father to make a way for us!
It isn’t regular power that can be easily disconnected like the plug pictured above, but it is DIVINE power. For the power to be considered divine, it must come from God. We have a holy divine power equipping us!
Think about that!
Divine Power
It had to be divine power because nothing less could help supernatural people (remember, our citizenship is in heaven).
We are empowered and equipped. If the enemy ever tells you that you can’t make it — you now know the truth! You are equipped with supernatural, divine power.
Father, thank You for equipping us! You love us more than we can ever understand. I’m grateful for Your love and divine power. Thank You for giving us Your Holy Spirit here on earth. You haven’t left us here as orphans, but have equipped us for everything we could possibly face. You have prepared a wonderful armor for us and the divine power needed to move forward. I pray this post will encourage someone today who might feel ill-equipped. Your Word is TRUTH. I love You Father! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
I am linking with The Internet Cafe for Word-Filled Wednesday. The rules have changed for 2013. If you would like to join along, discuss 2 Peter 1:3 today and pray. Hopefully with everyone focusing on the same scripture, we will learn from each other.
Ah, such an incredible reminder of such a powerful verse! Divine power! Whew! The lights flicked this morning, but that divine power never runs out!
Hi Beth,
The power we find in Him only grows and grows in us as we submit to His way and seek His face.
Love being energized by the Power Source.
Blessings,
