What better thing to do on a cold, cloudy afternoon than attend the NC State Fair? Woo hoo! It was the perfect day! They opened at 3pm and we didn’t have the normal crowd to battle. I loved it.
First, what country girl can walk by a redneck truck and not take a picture?

Mommy had to ride the Strawberry with her Princess.
She gave up once she realized she could only go in circles and decided to take a picture with Daddy.
This was the cutest thing! A bus named “Buster” that carried on a conversation with our daughter. She was in love.
Last, but not least — the crazy “merry”-go-round! I’m telling you, it is a miracle this thing didn’t sling the kids off! I was grateful I didn’t have to ride it because I would have been as dizzy as a spinning top! Check this out. Ha.
I hope you enjoyed our afternoon at the fair!
Looks like you ALL had fun!
Awesome pictures!
Thank you very much for your prayers for my brother in law, David. You will never know how much it means to our family. GOD BLESS YOU for storming the heavens with prayer on his behalf.

Oh how fun! Looks like everybody had a great time!
Glad no one was hurt on the merry go round. You gotta watch those things 😉 Of course, my son now thinks he is too old to ride one. Yes, it is very sad!
Love ya girl!
Man that carosel was swinging pretty fast! I love state fairs;) I might have to stop by your sometime..those apples look amazing!
What a perfect day! We're going next week – we have a very special Corn Maze – Green Acres – to attend this Saturday! 🙂 Can't wait for both. Fall is fun! Mt. Man has been planning the whole thing via email with you for our group. 🙂
Looks like you had a great day with your lovely family. Loved the pics. Thanks for sharing them.

We love going to the State Fair. Our fair is held in August because we start getting cold weather by October. As a matter of fact,I woke up to ground covered snow this morning…yuck!
You guys looked like you were having fun.
love and hugs~Tammy
Family and fun. Amen, and God bless
Looks like such great family time, love you my friend.
That's my kind of fair. Fun, food, and no crowd. Looks like a great time.
is it me or is that "merry" go round going rreeaalllyy fast. I thought things were suppose to be "slower" and "gentler" down south…that thing was hauling…. What a great time.
I haven't been to the fair in ages…that brought lots of fun memories for me! Y'all are just the cutest family EVER!
What a great time you had! Princess is so blessed to have such devoted parents! You all look soo young and spry! ENJOY!
Everything spells F-U-N!!! Food is great too at the Fair. And all those fun rides…That's awesome, Princess had a wonderful time with her awesome parents! God bless you three!
I haven't been to a fun fair like that in years. I wish our local fair was a bit different, and I think fall would be awesome for it (instead of rainy season). Looks like you all had a blast! 🙂
What a great time you all had! I haven't been to our fair in a few years. They moved it to August…it's so blazin' hot then!
Oooo…that merry-go-round made me dizzy just watching the video! Ever since my bout with vertigo, I'm real careful not to get on any rides like the one your Princess and Boaz were on. Sheesh!
The apple picture is my favorite! What a fun day!
Looks like fabulous fun!
Your daughter has the best smile!
Baby chick…awwwww!
Love the little donkey. Looks like you all had a wonderful time. You make me laugh some times with your sense of humor. Thanks for being you Beth!
