This morning I watched Dr. Phil and saw two mothers who were abusive to their children. The “fathers” just sat back (probably afraid of these women themselves) and allowed them to smack their children, scream at them, tell them they were useless, stupid, not loved, etc … One mother threatened her 5 year old daughter with, “I’m going to choke you to death! I’m going to drop you off with the bums.”
Dr. Phil had camera crews in their homes and caught such venom spilling out of these women. The children covered their heads and faces like this picture on this post. One little girl kept saying, “I don’t want a slap. I don’t want a slap.” It was pitiful.
I could hardly watch it. I started to cry. I wanted to get those children away from those abusers and bring them here. They don’t know what it is like to have peace in their little lives. They don’t know what is feels like to be held in loving arms.
I want to tell those babies that God loves them. God has plans for them. Surely He is grieved by the way they are treated. It is not His heart for them. Oh, how pitiful.
We really don’t know what goes on behind closed doors. God protect all of the children.
This is in America.
Did you know that children are trafficked in America too? Sold into sexual slavery? If you want to join an organization to help put predators behind bars, CLICK HERE.
As parents, we have the opportunity to raise our children in the way WE wanted to be raised. We are writing on the slates of their lives — forming their ability to receive the love of God, have good self-esteem. I want to encourage my daughter to be all that God wants her to be.
Please stop and pray for the children who were on the Dr. Phil show, and all of the children who are living in hell on earth.
This makes me want to cry!! I can't even imagine the torment that these kids go through on 24hr. basis!!
One time, my daughter and her friends witnessed their friends cousin being verbally abused by her father. They were in SHOCK (I wasn't there), and they were crying because they felt so bad for her. I think it really opened her eyes to see how evil people are, and also to see how blessed she is.
I'm watching it now and it's killing me.
That is so sad…people who have kids and don't appreciate the gift that children are to those who have them.
Amen! We have the ability to raise our kids the way that we wanted to be raised. Opportunity is the word! I pray that every one uses and does not abuse their parental opportunities.
I'm off to watch Dr. Phil now…I had to record it since I've been out and about most of the day. Sounds like I need to have my hanky ready. I can't stand the thought of anyone hurting an innocent little child.
This breaks my heart, Beth. You are right…we DON'T know what's going on behind closed doors.
Thank you for this information. We CAN make a difference for abused/exploited children by becoming involved!
I have seen a lot of child abuse among my family and others that I know and it always breaks my heart. The hardest thing is not being able to save the children. So if Dr Phil got this on film, why can't someone help those kids? It doesn't make sense.
That must be hard to watch! Any abuse is not acceptable. May God comfort these children. It's sad because they are growing up in that kind of environment and not knowing how to be loved. Unconditionally. I'm glad you're bringing it to people's attention. Like what you said, we don't know what goes on behind close doors.
I just can't even imagine the torture these precious children must go through. Did CPS remove them from the home as verbal abuse is still abuse.
Please watch over all of our precious children Father.
you know sometimes i can't help but ask why do these unfit mothers given a chance to have children when all they do is hurt them. why do other women who are fit to be mothers can't.
It is a shame.. And it happens around the world. I have seen it here and even though it may be "against the law" it is still accepted as normal. In the schools, and at homes. It is really hard sometimes.
I'm so glad you are sharing this because people need to know that this is happening. So sad. Thank you by the way for the your message via Twitter! 🙂 I wanted to let you know that I started an additional blog @ http://journeydeeper1.blogspot.com/
