I am joining The Gypsy Mama for 5 Minute Friday. She provides a topic and we write for 5 minutes straight. No editing, no critiquing … just writing.
Today’s topic/word is CATCH.
Ready, set, GO: 6:42am
Here in the south we say, “Don’t catch a cold” as if it is being thrown at us.
My right-hand woman — my buddy here at the corn maze, Maegan, sent me a message last night that she felt “blah” and to pray for her.
Of course I didn’t see it until this morning and I’m praying that “blah” didn’t mean SICK.
Each morning I cover me and my family in the full armor of God. I go through each piece: Helmet of Salvation, Breastplate of Righteousness, Shield of Faith, Sword of the Spirit, Belt of Truth, and Shoes of Peace. Then I pray the protection of Psalm 91 over each of us as well. As if that doesn’t cover us enough, I also loose angels to guard us and the fire of the Holy Spirit to surround us.
After reading her comment this morning, I believe I need to start praying the same over our employees.
None of us have time to “catch” anything around here! Trust me.
Stop: 6:47am
(Picture of my buddy Maegan. Please pray she feels 100% today.)
Thinking of Maegan today and praying she’s feeling much better this morning.
Your 5 minute Friday is a great reminder that not only should we put on the full armour of God but pray that others are blessed with it as well.
Have a blessed day.
love you my friend, saying prayers for you.
