As fellow bloggers, do any of you dislike anonymous comments?

I had them disabled for a while, but that blocked a non-blogging friend of mine who liked to comment from time to time.

Well, yesterday I received an anonymous comment on a 2008 post! Yep, 2008. How crazy. I have to admit it really ticked me OFF. Normally it takes a lot to make me this angry, but this person called me RACIST.

What?!?!? Ok, obviously the person doesn’t know me. I sent the comment to a couple of my real-life friends and one of my friends ended her reply with this statement, “I’m sorry, Friend. Anyone who knows you, knows your heart (which couldn’t be prejudice if it tried).” (Thanks Con.)

I guess I shouldn’t have let it anger me like it did (OR sinned by replying in anger), but I have seen this type of attitude throughout the USA when it comes to election time. I don’t understand why people who choose to be conservative are labeled racist. Could someone please explain that to me? I didn’t like Clinton either — am I anti-white? Huh?

I pray for our president. I want all to be well in our country. But that does not mean I agree with him.

I’m not trying to stir up controversy, but leaving an anonymous comment that rips into someone is just cowardly and childish. To me, if someone feels strongly about her convictions, she shouldn’t cower but share her face and name.

Changing the course of this a little. I know that people get heated over Democrat or Republican issues, but guess what? Neither of those parties hold the answer. GOD is the One who can fix our nation. Only God. Everyone in the USA needs to fall on our faces before the Lord and cry out for His mercy.

2 Chronicles 7:14
if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

I guess it was perfect timing for me to be accused yesterday. With the 4th of July just around the corner, I pray all Christian Americans will fight for what this country was formed to be — FREE with Christian values.

You’ve GOT to take a second (seriously, you won’t regret it) and listen to a verse you don’t often hear from the National Anthem of the United States of America.

God bless America and all of the men and women fighting for our freedom.
