I just don’t seem to have enough time lately! I don’t know where my time goes, but it vanishes in the wind.
I decided to take my husband’s iPad to my parent’s house yesterday. My 88 year old Daddy was willing to learn something new and played Angry Birds on the iPad. Ha. Here is a cute picture of him enjoying this game. Think of the changes he has seen in his lifetime! He was born in 1922. It is mind boggling really. He remembers horse drawn carts, Model T Fords … now he can touch a screen and move pictures around.
On another note, for those who have been with me for a while, you will remember my fight to get a Blackberry phone. I wanted something with a keyboard to assist in sending texts. My hubby faced the giants with a certain company starting with a S and got the phone for me. I loved my Blackberry until it started having serious problems. I was about to receive my THIRD “berry” due to phone issues and I decided that was enough. I researched an upgrade with that company and the Evo (sp?) had a ton of complaints.
I had a couple of cousins come by with iPhones. I questioned them and checked out their phones. So, now I am the owner of an iPhone. I think I’ll enjoy it.
Have a great day everyone!
That IS an adorable picture of your daddy. It's so hard to comprehend the technological changes he has seen. WOW.
I love the picture of your dad! My husband's 90 yr old grandmother has an ipad and loves it. Her eyesight is getting bad and she loves playing games on the ipad. I can't imagine what all they have seen in their lives!

Your dad is so cute! He reminds me of my Grandpa Troy. My G'pa Troy was born in 1908 and he had a memory like a calculator. As I got older, I loved hearing all his stories of the things he'd experienced in life. He never got to experience all of our recent technology though.
Your daddy looks so sweet, Beth! God Bless him. I bet the IPad just blows his mind…it blows mine, too!
OMG Beth..that is the most precious picture.. i hope you print that out and keep it,,my parents have both gone to be with the lord, but i just love it when i am doing something around the house and a run across a picture of one of them..
God Bless..Have a great day
Beth I am loving that picture of your father. No generation cannot enjoy the technology of another. Very precious indeed. Blessings.
