Please don’t give up on me. I’ve been at the maze every day and it won’t change until November 1st. I really appreciate my friends continuing to visit me. Thank you so much!
I even had a couple of my bloggy sisters visit me TODAY at the maze! Yep, guess who? First was my buddy Tara from Keeping up with the Kellys. I met her nice husband Dwight and cutie patootie little Andrew! It was great seeing Tara again. We met months ago at a gathering of some NC bloggers. She is so sweet and fun. I embarrassed her by introducing her to my Boaz (while bringing up the dermatologist post). Tara had said she probably couldn’t look my man in the eye after reading about his experience! hee hee I appreciate Tara and her family driving out to see us. ((((hugs to you Tara)))))
Then came Carolina Mama!
The fun fact about me and Carolina Mama is she had been to my farm before we ever met! After making a few connections on blogger we finally put two and two together. It was great meeting her in person today! I think she and her family had a fun time. I also met MOUNTAIN MAN. That’s right — and the boys (they are adorable). I hope to see Carolina Mama again! She seems super sweet and sincere. Just my type of friend (just like Tara).
After the sun went down, I took one of our faithful maze employees (and sweet member of our church) Beverly to see what the maze looked like at night. I don’t know how I can take a bad picture of myself where I looked afraid of the camera, but I managed it. Ha. Princess had her pose going on of course.
If you ride one of our hay rides at night, this is what you’ll see. This is a view looking up at our maze from our pond. Beautiful! Come out and see for yourself if you live in NC.
Oh, I sure wish I lived closer…I'd be there, for sure. 🙂
Love,
Beth
What a fun day for you!! I wish I lived nearby, we would love to come visit!
We had sooo much fun but let me tell you, that squirrel almost scared me out of my pants! I have been laughing about today (your Boaz and the squirrel) since leaving the farm.
BTW, I have video in the maze I'll post on Tuesday. We had been in there for 30 mins and had only found 2 stations!! We eventually found about 6 stations but gave up about 4pm.
Thank you for your hospitality! Andrew had a great time and has said John Deere all evening!
Hate I missed Carolina Mama!
Aaahhhhh, I wish I could have been there! I know I only met y'all once, but I still miss you! We all need to get together again! 🙂 It was way too much fun!!! 🙂
Just like what everyone said, wish we can go there….especially meet you…That's great that you get to see friends from the blog world! That's a beautiful view at night!!! So peaceful. Have a great weekend sister Beth and God bless.
What a lucky ducky!!!! :o) You are blessed with bloggin' darlings who drop by for a visit and you have a gorgeous farm. I might be asking you for a few pointers, I planted a couple mini-pumpkin seeds for fun with my son about a week ago and they are growing like crazy! The small pot can't contain them much longer and I have no idea what to do with them, do they grow well outside or is it the wrong time to place 'em outside due to the harsh winter coming up. Crikey, who knew being a farmer would be so stressful ((winks))
(Sorry about removing the previous comment, it was under the wrong email address. Whoopsy!)
How fun. So glad you and Tara got together again. We went to a corn maze today. So much fun! Sure wish we could have come to yours
What fun meeting bloggy buddies.
If we still lived in NC we would be there. More than you probably would like. ;o)
How fun!! I love that you got to meet Tara, Dwight and A. Your farm looks wonderful, just the place we would want to visit!! Can't wait for Tara's post on it.
And you got to see another blogger friend….what a fun day 🙂
If I hadn't had 311 things to do today, I would have loved to meet up w/ Carolina Mama. How cool that they came to the maze! I don't know how ya'll worked there as cool as it was. Guess it's preparing you for Christmas tree season! LOL!
Fun meeting up with blog buddies. So far I have had the opportunity to meet only one of mine. Believe it or not she lives just 20 minutes from where I used to live in NY before moving to WI.
the maze looks fun Beth and you never take a bad picture!
How are you liking the Wisconsin type weather that has been hitting you guys the past day or so?
Bet you look amazing and the Green Acres is awesome! You all are doing such a great job there. It is clean and neat and family friendly fun! We love the no smoke, alcohol and hey you even recycle! 🙂
Your family is so sweet. I am so happy it worked out to get our group there. Everyone had a blast. You were so welcoming to come over and greet us right away! Especially as busy as you were.
The food smelled great. The Tigers opted for snacky stuff and I was happy with my Diet Dr. Pepper. Mt. Man = water.
What a blessing! you look great in all of your pictures!
Oh WOW! This was really nice to read! Geez, I wish I could come out to meet with you girls as well, I kinda feel a bit of a hermit at the moment, doing a very half hearted job on my own blog …. but then I blame the tech glitch (spell disaster)when all of my images on my website crashed, and the background is still not back up, setting me back for over a week. Oh well, serves me right if I will try to do everything myself LOL.
Wishing you a very happy and blessed Sunday!
Geli.
Looks like alot of fun at the maze…and even better when you get to see your blog friends!
How fun to see some of your blogging friends in person and to experience your maze. Oh how I wish I lived nearby and could drop by to visit. I have no doubt that we would get along so well. Love your sense of humor Beth and of course, your love for our Lord.
I wish I could stop by. But I am with you in spirit.
Preparing for my parents 5Oth anniversary celebration.
Wow, that sounds like so much fun. I wish I was up to traveling so we could come see what you're up to! I've missed talking to you lately. You've been busy and I've been feeling yucky!
However, I wanted to take a minute and ask you a favor. If you get a brief moment, would you PLEASE come by my blog and read my latest post? This family just lost their precious baby boy and they desperately need our help!
TWO VERY SPECIAL MINUTES…

If you don't have time, I understand. I truly do. :0)
I hope you continue to have an amazing time at the maze! Keep taking lots of pictures! :0)
Love ya,
Teresa <><
Such sweet, beautiful blessings.
Oh how fun!! You met with two great blogging friends and shared time at your farm with them. I bet they had a blast and you too!!!
That is just awesome! So glad that you got to see them all again. If you will, email me info about the maze (hours, directions, etc) and we may come for a visit. We don't have a thing planned for Halloween and am looking for something to do.
Loved all the photos. If I lived closer I'd surely visit you.
that's awesome! I wanna drop by too 🙂
LOL-couldn't look him in the eyes!!!!!
So great that you've been blessed to meet other blogger friends, and that night view, Beth is just stunning!
